Halloween Carnival and a little FUN

Well we had a great weekend.....some how they always seem a bit to short! Friday night we went to watch Uncle Matt play which we LOVE...and YEAH for Ganado because they won, way to go Uncle Matt!!! Yipee.....Saturday we went and supported the Relay for Life (Granny and Grandpa made Yummy chile which was a hit).... Callen and Kayden played and got to run off LOTS of little boy energy which these days seems to be endless football is always there game of choice and they LOVE the tackle part of the game. And Sunday we went to church and took a good long nap and then we went to the Carnival.... Upon arriving at the carnival my little skunk and his hunter (aka Daddy) started to walk around and take it all in.....Callen decided as much fun as the carnival seemed he prefered to EAT and look around taking ever costume in....so during our 2 hours there he consumed Doritos, 4 chocolate chip cookies, gummy bears, halloween marsh mellows and many other sweet treats and a bottle or water....we did get him to participate in the costume contest and once he warmed up he was a pretty darn cute skunk....and low and behold the stinker won a trophy....YEAH Callen! He was pretty excited but I think daddy was even more excited! After the carnival we went and showed granny and grandpa when we got there Callen was so wired with sugar he danced and ran in super speed and loved having them just laugh at him this continued all night even at dinner with Mr. Chris he kept going and going.....running the wheels of his tractor!!! Until about 10 when he climbed in bed with his cell phone in hand and conked right out... So all in all it was a great weekend. I have attached a few pictures from the weekend. HARD TO BELIEVE THIS WAS ONE YEAR AGO TODAY.......LOOK AT THAT "SWEET BABY"

This morning I sat in Aww of my sweet "baby" he absolutely amazes me with his curiousity, endless love, open mouth sugars, endless energy, curiosity and his little stubborn side. So as I say wrestling him to change his diaper I had an AWW moment....you know the kind that stops you in your tracks and really makes you think! Yeah it was one of thos multiplied by 10....Callen is not a "baby" he is a little boy...wow such BIG words for me. I sat there and looked at his long muscular legs, his sweet hands that were intwined in mine, his growing little toes, and a NAKED hiney that was soooo cute being chased around (yes hard to imagine that being cute but I had to share because one day he will get a book compiled of all these emails and notes and I want him to hear about his naked hiney). So after I wrestled him to get his diaper on, fought him to get every inch of clothing on and when he was done guess what I got from him....the biggest, best HUG in the world....if fact this morning it rocked my world!!!

Now with becoming a BIG boy also comes some changes....this morning for the first time ever Callen decided he could get out of bed without mommy....hmmmm he wanted daddy...boy my little world is changing but I must say it is soooo very sweet to see those two together...I snuck a peak at what they were doing and it was PRICELESS they were playing on the floor of Callen's room. Callen snuggled in daddy's lap in awww of al around him.

I think it will be back again this year......only BIGGER, cuter and alot wiser....

The Many Faces of Callen....

Mr. Callen has become quite the character lately....in fact when it comes to pictures you never know what face you will get! Will it be the infamous no face or will it be the serious face....or maybe if you are realy lucky you will get the cheesy grin...never know with that boy!!! He is in a BIG ne phase in his life....cLiMbInG....he love to climb everyting from his playscapes to his toys with wheels...oh the joys I am sure soon we will either be in the ER or at the dentist but I must say I wouldnt trade my momentary heat palpations for anything because each BIG new climb is priceless. We are also accomplishing words daily.....Pappy came out this morning as Callen and I sat in the mirror getting dressed he grabbed the picture of me and dad...kissed pappy as he always does and I said are you kissing Pappy and low and behold he said PaPpY.....a big suprise to mommy....and last night as someone was leaving the house Callen waved the most adorable wave and said BYE 100 times.....I personally think it is helping that Jane is keeping one olderkiddo right now and Callen is picking up on alot more plus I know she is working with the dude daily!!! With the days growing shorter mommy is at a loss of what we are going to do...although he does ok inside cooking with my pots and pans he defiantely prefers to be eoutside as late as possible....I am guessing I am gonna be getting new flod lights and making sure we can light up the yard like a park...heeheehee sad but oh so true. Also last week on our adventures we had a new VISITOR....it was a short and sweet visit and she has yet to return but would you believe an aligator was in the yard....far from the house but still it was in the yard..YIKES luckily she didnt want to make our place her home and she must have kept on a trucking...thank goodness as this mommy would have had a hard time with a toddler and an aligator. Anyway as you can tell we are busy little beavers in the Hajovsky Household.....but we wouldnt have it anyother way....Wishing you all a great week and sending Sugars far and wide. Fair Fun....

Yeppers you guessed it, it is that time again in Jackson County....FAIR TIME. And last night me and my boys went to the Fair and had the best time ever....This year Callen is old enough to get the idea of what you do at the Fair....watch our friends show animals, play with the animals, EAT, ride rides and do a little dancin "Callen Style". It was the greatest experience to see Callen in all his glory be a BIG kid....walk around in complete aww of things we once again take for granted. His utter excitement for life never ceases to amaze me...he his loving of others and certainly didnt hesitate to clap and give Miss Skylar a high five after she WON GRAND CHAMPION PIGGY.....hard to believe as just a year ago her sister MaKayla was doing the same thing......the most wonderfully touching part of the whole show was when BIG sis went over and gave little SIS a HIGH FIVE as the judge was announcing her winner....my hope is that one day Callen will have a BROTHER and that they too will share in the joys of what the other accomplishes. WAY TO GO girls it was amazing to see you in that rink both showing for GRAND....that is a AMAZING. Callen thanks you for the FUN night and wishes he would have gotten a picture of yall and Miss LEXI together because hopefully one day my sweet Callen is gaga over one of those two little girls...this mommy would be thrilled as we love those 3 to death!! All in all I think Callen's most favorite part was the petting zoo....except for MR. LOUD DONKEY that occasionally scared the bejesus out of him....he was drawn like no other to the animals and all there wonder. He did love the rides but he is a little engineer and to him the rides were fun but it was funner to try and figure each piece and part out and how it made it operate silly I know but you could see that wonder in his eyes and he looked at all the pieces of the ride studying each one. The end of the night was GRAND too in his daddy's eyes as we left Callen once again was in Aww of the tractors...he is my tractor loving child and to his daddy it means the world and to momm it is a shear joy to see the two of them late and night on the floor playing tractors! We hope you are all having a GREAT week and even more we send kisses and hugs your way!!! To Our Infamous FAN club......

Have we told you all lately that we LOVE you.....each one of you has a very special place in our hearts and you know as fall starts to settle in we start missin everyone and wishing for the holidays to roll on in so that we can see you all.....now we know each and everyone of you cant always be each place we are but man our little home just hasnt been as cozy as normal because we are lacking YALL....

so with that said we are gonna try our family project again......PLEASE SEND US A FAMILY SHOT!!! why you ask because Callen needs to see all of you daily and to be hinest so does his mama!!! Now last time we only had 3 people send us a picture so come on break out those cameras or photos and send it over....REMEMBER it is for an adorable 1 year old who is learning to talk and maybe your name could be the first BIG words out of his mouth....haahaahaaa

Anyway lets get to the point of these lovely emails...what have we been up to...PLAYING, working and every thing InBeTwEen.....we are in football madness around here and me and the DUDE cant wait for every Friday to arrive becuase Football time = time for Callen to be loud and cheer for Uncle Matt and play and just be a rambuncious little boy....other then that he got his first official little boy haircut!!! and it is ADORABLE....mommy also got a new do now it is DADDY'S turn!!!

We are also in the fall mode at home getting ready for halloween deciding on my dudes costume and enjoying this great weather. Last night Callen and I played football....tackle football and he loved it too bad mommy was pooped because she had to do all the tackiling but boy was it FUN!!! and for those of you wondering and pondering Callen still loves tractors, real tractors, play tractors, tractors BIG and small, heck he LOVES then all!!!

We are wishing you all a GRAND week and for those of you in Austin we will be in town this weekend so watch your doorsteps because you could have the cutest out-of-towner beating at your door!!! And I must also send a birthday wish to UNCLE DANIEL....we havent forgotten about you but we do request some surf stuff because we need it...you know so awesome pictures we can BLOW up BIG. Thanks for satisfying or request!!!

And now Ten on Tuesday......

1. Have you heard it is FALL...get your decorations out enjoy and savor the moments as they pass all to quickly and with Fall come FOOTBALL and we must say Uncle Matt is having a great year and we cant wait to see UNCLE BLAINE this weekend get ready Blaine he hollare LOUD...

2. Callen is still enjoying the summery aspects even though it is fall...playing in a sprinkler, swimming in pappy and mimi's pool and having one last hurrah before it closes for winter, nice cooler evening paytimes, bike rides with mom and days that are starting to get shorter which means soon I will have a mad little boy because outside time is cut short

3. We all needed a change at our house so what did I do...NOPE not paint....we are fall cleaning and Callen is helping....one OLD man taught me that less is more so we are trying it out and donating to GOOD causes never has hurt anyone!!!

4. GREG is home.....have you heard!!! well Callen thinks he hung the moon......there was no lack in there relationship the two picked up right where they left off the best part is GREG is a BIG kid at heart and Callen knows it...and he loves it when he gets lucky and Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Greg stay the night because Callen thinks it means playtime till midnight

5. Wedding time is quickly approaching and we are super excited before too long Aunt Kim will be married and Callen will have an Uncle David it is count down at our house till the BIG day....we are getting our finest duds out and will be ready...WILL YOU?

6. Pappy watch out because we are gonna be hounding you for some help with halloween....are you ready because mommy is having some fond memeories of you spending countless hours on a costume for her and wondering if you will do the same for her little dude....just wait it is coming!!!

7. BEBE we need fashionist advice...we have a special surprise we are working on for Christmas and Saturday we need your help....so saddle up your tahoe and your best fashion hat because you are tagged for that duty!! plus who better to ask then the fashion queen bee.....haahaahaa

8. Daddy is the BEST....he took Callen 2 weeks ago and they spent 4 hours on the tractor...WOW that is dedication and good behavior at its best....Callen was sure to be in tractor heaven

9. Can someone please find us new TRACTOR movies....mommy finds herself singing John Deere all day at work and at night she hears it suddle tumes comng from the playroom...Yellow and Green watch it run fast watch it run clean...John Deere....Callen is often found laughing at me for singing John Deere
I am willing to bet MIMI will be on the task as she always can bail us out of a hole heck she was even willing to drive all over Austin for a monster costume.....man she is good and has about as much energy and Callen...haahaahaa

10. OK 10 this week mommy should of had a video camera.....we helped Granny clean the garage and a mouse got away well as she was washing it out the mouse decided to try and come back in....nope he didnt make it she hosed him down and Grandpa stomped on him and Callen just laughed and laughed.....he thought it was a sight to see for sure...Thanks for the entertainment and thanks for keeping the DUDE yesterday he had a blast..the eveidence was clear by the tornado looking livingroom he left behind....

Inspiring

Let me first start by sharing the most amazing story.....Stephanie also known for the http://www.nieniedialogues.blogspot.com/ and her husband were in a plane crash back in August where they were both severly burned...her sister http://blog.cjanerun.com/ has been raising her children 4 or 5 to be exact and documenting and posting in regards to her sister and brother in laws recovery....I must tell you the story sends chills the kind you hope you never have to live yet hope if you ever do that your children could be just as lucky as hers and have as much faith and love that this family has.....

I think it is all to often that we get caught up in the keeping with the Jones's or drama of everyday life and we fail to remember what really matters...our families, our loved ones, our children, memories we leave behind, peace in knowing you have touched lives and changed them for the better. I know if Chris and I were in there shoes we would hope and wish that the love we have for Callen and eachother could move mountains and no matter what we struggle with we could endure. Every night I pray if something should ever happen Callen knows how much he is loved and that he would know who his parents were and that he could live the life that we would want for him in an enviroment where is was not treated any different yet loved unconditionally!

Now for some fun uplifting stuff....my kid has become a ham in every since of the word!!! He can put on a show like no other especially the other night at the football game.....Lets just say the pictures dont lie!!! Wishing you all a great week and sending hugs and kisses your way!!!
