Hiatus

...wondering if there is a bloggin hiatus coming in my immediate future-- you know a shut down recharge get back into the mood, take some pictures, tell you stories I love, share secrets only bloggers know...hmmm will it happen? I just dont know because lets face it I am really not feeling it!!

Tuckered....

This is a rare occurance in our house on weekends-- he is a fighter and doenst cave easily-- yesterday he was on the brink-- and before I blinked he was out sound asleep with his hands still in the animal crackers!

I am in a bit of a blogging funk--

The BIG 31

Today my sweet husband turns 31---gasp old man--heehehehehe I can say that because well I am his younger better half. Really ok back to the real meaning of this post.

Thank you for being a wonderful husband and father. I am ever so greatful for the 2 beautiful children we have and the life that we share. Dont get me wrong it isnt always peaches around here but heck that would take the fun away although I can say we are stronger because of those bumps and bruises. I hope you have a wonderful day, I hope you smile and I hope when you lay your head down tonight you know that in your 31 years you have made an impact on others lives and always put others over yourself, you are a kind and generous man and have a love for your family and friends like I ahve never seen. Wishing you another 31 Happy Years and many more after that!!

A little pick me up

After having one at the doctor for 4 shots immediately following a call from school that the other was running a 101.5.......ahhh what a way to end a Friday and welcome the weekend---Of course we made the best of it and were even able to put on a happy face and end the weekend on a happy note-- although you can tell someone still wasnt feeling 100% and the one that got shots--- hmmm she never missed a beat!

and have I told you I LOVE pigtails love love love em-- in fact today she is sporting them-- that is until she decides to pull them out and that she has had enough

The key to piggies is you do them once you get where you are going because if you do them for the car ride--- there will be NO piggies left once you arrive

Will I ever get enough...

Bestill my heart-- I am not sure if I will ever get enough in all my lifetime of my children

Right now I am dreading leaving them for the 1st time EVER

The only 2 times I have been away from Callen - when Paisley was born (but he came to visit every day) and on a quick trip to Vegas (1 night)....but come next week I am leaving for Fort Worth (not by choice). And I have NEVER been away from my Sweet P never not 1 night. I am headed there with work for 3 days eek but when you are summoned by the BIG bosses (you go) because they need a new picture-- really I think I can send them as many as they need if I can just stay home:(.

Leaving my sweet babes and hubs behind my heart breaks I am not going to lie because in those 3 days they will grow, I will miss there laughter, their snuggles and most importanly their kisses. And this is a 1st for daddy not that I dont think he can handle it because I do--- but 2 kids alone for 36 hours can be tough although I must fact it they tend to be a bit better for daddy then mommy......ughhhh the next 5 days please tick by!!

Watch out....

When sister gets upset and decides to pout she wants you to put her inthe baby bed.... if you put her in the baby bed.....she has NO intentions of getting out...if she doesnt get out she falls ASLEEP

Oh my heavens it was the cutest thing-- she was being a fuss, cranky and irratable so we decided to do a little time out session P went in her baby bed and once in there she stopped crying, the fit ceases-- until you went in to offer her to get up and out-- heavens NO the girl was staying put.

Princess P I am not sure what we would do with out you--- you are sweet and stubborn at the same time and I LOVE having a little sassy britches!!

Calling All Guest

We anxiously await any visitors arrival-- and come spring break we have some dear friends coming to visit we couldnt be MORE excited about--

We Love having a guest room that is used and loved-- of course if you ask Callen this room is Greg and Lindsay's as they are our most frequent guest-- of course Mackenzie is going to now be sleeping with Callen in his room accoriding to him ;)

Wii advice?

See I will be the 1st to admit Callen and I bought this Wii for daddy back in June for a fathers day gift....Callen had been sick we had been stuck playing playdough for days and I thought it was a GRAND idea. Till my little man became hooked-- yeah I am not talking lets play the Wii once or twice a day I am talking EVERYDAY for as long as we will let him using ALL his energy-he will come down stairs sweating like CRAZY!!!

And hmmm I thought this Wii was for daddy-- although last night when Chris disappeared for 20 minutes to go cut off the lights upstairs-- when he came down I asked were you playing Wii ALONE-- his reply "yeah just for a second and man it isnt the same with Callen not around" ughhh yeah and if Callen knew that is what you were doing upstairs he would have been there in 2.2 seconds!!

SO any good advice on just how to limit the Wii time or get him to play one of the learning games we have?

Get ready for some FUN

Christmas Morning

You know the funny thing about Christmas morning is the anticipation... I have to tell you I remember it from when I was a kid and now even as a mommy you still get giddy inside, you anxiously await those little sleepy eyes to open and those few moments while walking to the living room you have butterflies--- each and every time!This year Callen really understood what was going on-- we left cookies and milk for Santa and reindeer food for the reindeer. I have to tell you that Christmas 2010 was incredible and magical.
Of course Callen was very concerned about Santa not only finding us but Mackenzie as well-- of course the cookie decorating party helped when Santa found his house. However he still asked numerous times about where Santa would visit Mackenzie....and low and behold he left her goodies at our house too. Thank you Santa for taking such good care of all 3 babies!!This year we tried to really focus on 1 gift that the kids really wanted-- P's little bug brought many many tears the day she found it in the store and we didn't bring it home, and ohhhh Callen all that sweet boy wants is tools of course his new plastic work bench is NOTHING compared to the real tools he received. We also decided to do a joint gift for the 2 of them.....they both love to paint and color so we decided on a easel-- ask me in a few months if Santa did the right thing...either way Christmas was PERFECT!!Of course after our Santa gifts we opened gifts from mommy and daddy and P got to open the ones she missed when she was getting her beauty rest.

Soon after little Mackenzie arrived and we were able to show her what Santa had brought herIt was a blessed morning and we are ever so grateful for all the blessings bestowed on us this year

It's football time--

Last night as I was cleaning the kitchen I couldnt help but laugh-- Callen and his daddy were watching football and low and behold he was rooting for the team of his choice-- see you tell my little man who is playing and he immediately can tell you who he wants to win and even if you are rooting for the opposite team he sticks by his choice till the end-- and he cheers his heart out-- unfortunately he nor I stayed awake till the end but he rooted on the buck-eyes till he couldnt root anymore.

And please disregard the teeny tiny pants he had on-- his daddy dressed him and after a long talk about clothes fitting you Callen and I both agreed the 12 month pants have got to go ;)
Although no matter what he has on in my eyes he always looks like a cutie patootie!!

Let me share

Yesterday I had a little request to share some pictures of the house--- I am going to jump around just a bit. 1st I am going to show you one of my favorite parts of the house-- laugh as you must but the "tower" everyone ask about is just dreamy. Of course it helps that it has all our most precious pictures. I just love to walk to the playroom at night- silly as it sounds I just stop and look at all the pictures and await a few to fill some spots that are vacant.

As you walk up the stairs you see my sweet babesRound the corner and it is photo delight!! And down the entire wall is heaven!!
Of course you get a little sneak peek at the playroom-- it still is getting tuned and will be ready for sidplay hopefully end-of-the-week

The best part is when you leave the playroom you get to see it all over again--- crazy yes but for those of you that know me know just how much I LOVE pictures!!

Christmas Time--

Christmas Eve I was blessed to have my family come and join us for our 1st Christmas in the new house-- it was wonderful although one little soul fell asleep. We had a merry time-- and boys the bet is off because I am going to prove you BOTH wrong!!

It started with Callens gift to Uncle Daniel--

Oh where to begin....

GASP-- A Christmas post-- yes that is correct I am going to post about the holidays.

1st up Hajovsky Christmas

It was a great evening filled with fun and laughter for all- it amazes me just how much each person in this family is loved....from the little bitty to the middle kids (which by the way I have to tell you my kids think yall are the coolest) to the Aunts & Uncles-- it is just super sweet to see everyone enjoying themselves.

It was a great time-- as you can tell there were smiles for all!!
