A diva in her own way---

I am telling you with every ounce in my soul that Paisley has 100% a mind of her own(not sure where she gets that from)....and she sticks by what she wants...letting you know NO, or MINE. Saturday day she was in rare form for our yard guys... I can tell you I had to just laugh-- they were her new found buddies maybe because they had a DOG that she loved or maybe because she needed a change of scenery whatever it was she was in rare form.

(and yes she did this ALL by herself including letting herself out the door)

Of course lucky for my it is someone we know well and fell comfortable with so I could let her roam and do as she pleased.

And it begins...yet again!

Oh soccer I must say we missed you, we missed our friends, we missed out games and we missed the energy you use from these little boys.

BUT baby we are soooooo glad to welcome you BACK into our lives!!

Practice Monday was great the boys were in full force and full of spunt as you may have gathered by them choosing the TIGERS as our new team name and yes we are the YELLOW TIGERS.....anyway how cute can 3-5 year olds be --umm yes ADORABLE!~

So Saturday we played a noon game and I think someone forgot to invite the sunshine...hmmm lets blame that one on our coachs--hehehe because this is my blog I can do that ;)

Needless to say the Tiger kicked some TAIL-- go boys go and there was no douby they had there trusty cheerleaders on the side...one which states she is Callens girlfriend--oh me oh my we just think it is tooooo cute and are honored she likes little Calle. From the Inside looking out....

Ahhh I sit here in our new office--well technically the hubs office and I am looking out where my BIG picture window used to reside--- I hear bird chirping, see thunder heads rolling in and feel the fresh breeze of this crazy Texas air rolling into the house. Of course this is the second massive window that is being taken out of the house today-- only 4 more to go after this one. I am so greatful to a excellent builder and wonderful window company for correcting little oops on the traveling windows behalf before they made our house there well now temporary home. Her shortly it will be fixed and I will have shiny new glories in there place. Have I told you yet just how wonderful this house experience has been--- glory be!!!

Today...

Today when I left Callens school after talking to his sweet teacher I was remind just how precious life is by a heart wrenching scenario playing out with a sweet new baby. So for today relish in the moments....call someone just because and let them know they are LOVED, kiss those sweet little forheads just one more time, when asked for one more story tonight before bed give in (I know I will) and be blessed for where you are because so many face such obstcles I could NEVEr in my heart imagine. So for today relish the moments and spread the love.

I can promise you if I was to leave this earth tomorrow my sweet babies would know just how much I love them and always will because they are my heart outside my body, I give every ounce to them (in somes eyes more then I should) but without them I wouldnt be whom I have become and mommy wouldnt mean to me what it means

Umm.. how do you answer

The question I was asked tonight "so you have choosen to be a single mom"...not sure where this came from. But let me assure you the answer wasnt nearly what anyone expected.

When you caught off gaurd but you are answering honestly it went something like this.

Being a single Mom? not sure what you mean in those regards? "well you never have your husband around....and I assumed you were a single mom"well hun you are right, right now I dont have my husband around and to be honest this is something we have choosen but while it may seem like I am a single parent I am not anything close to one. See we have a give/take relationship and right now I am giving all I can in fact we both are. See the 1st of the year we choose to really work hard this year, knowing there would be scarafices, knowing there would be endless tasks and different roads...but this is the life we choose and for a year we are going to put it all out there but know that at the end of the day our life is anything but normal but will better us and make our family stronger. So, no I am not a single mom although for any single mom I can tell you what they do is amazing.

that is how I answered it.. but truth be told it is bothering me yet I am so gratful someone was honest enough to ask and really put themselves out there.

I know this decision is right, I know this decision will only better who we are and what we instill in our children and I know I am NOT a single mom...while I miss my husband I know he too is sacfracing ALOT- sacraficing time with his babies, time with me, time to do the endless honey do's yet at the end of the day when he strolls in for the 10th or 20th night at 2 a.m. I am grateful that I have such a hard working husband and father for my kids. So for anyone looking from the outside in-- our life isnt normal but it is our normal and we have been truly blessed.

ROCKING a new soccer name

Since last night we officially began our soccerseason we let the boys choose a new soccer name since they opted out of being the dinomites....so what did they choose

I am sooo excited to see soccer return this Saturday and I have a little oby counting down the days till Saturday.

BEST of FRIENDS

The last few weeks have been trying on my little man as he went from a large school to a very small school leaving behind his friends. Of course today we begin soccer and we will be seeing lots of our missing friends. However, nothing beats a Satruday where you can have your BEST friend over all day.

These 2 had a wonderful time they played and played and played...it melted my heart when these 2 sweeties let Paisley join in on the fun. I am so greatful for the friends we have and all the sweet kiddos in our lives.

Saturday Morning...

I tried to tell my kids we were having school all day at home, I was going to teach them to clean, to make their beds, to wash the clothes and then Callen piped up "AND TO DRIVE A CAR MOMMY"....ugghh no little darling. Of course you can tell by the picture they both agreed driving a car would be the best thing they would learn at mom's satruday school.

Might be whitty however this time momma has out smarted her and all her hiding spots on those crazy passies. Since Sunday morning she has not had one and I am singing the praises we are no long having to tote on around!! Yipee whoo Sweet P momma is so proud of you

Date Night

Tonight I am headed to date night with the kiddos--- call me a crazy mom but we are going out just the 3 of us (we are a little team). Along the way we are going to go to Chick-fil-A for some kiddo F-U-N (they love the play area and now that P is crazy mobile she will be ALL over it).

For those of you that dont realize this is a BIG treat for my kiddos because chick-fil-a is about 45 minutes to Victoria-- so to us it feels like and outing and it will be.

So here is to DATE NIGHT!!!

Looking Back...

I know they often say looking back isnt the greatest thing to do but sometimes it seems to mend what needs to be mended. I think today I need some looking back~

ahhh these 2 melt my heart and that sweet boy who last year insisted sissy's legwarmers were actually for his arms!!

Hard to believe how much changes in a year

Not only have my sweet babies changed but our home has changed, our friendships have changed, our family has changed and our lives as a whole have changed. While there have been some sad changes, some unforgivable changes, there have also been those changes we are greatful for, those changes that were a blessing and all those changes shape who we are and who we are becoming...

one day he will shoot me for this one but look at that sweet smile!!
and to me the most noticable change from little to a little bigger (DONT SAY BIG I MAY BURST INTO TEARS)

Saturday night we celebrated a WONDERFUL senior serve and let me tell you our sweet Kendall did one wild and CrAzY job. While we wouldnt have missed it for the world because with out her jokes, without her silly comments, without her gusto it just wouldnt have been the same.
We are so proud of each on of the senior class and wish them all the best and of course

I can never get enough

This little love--- ahhhh I cant begin to tell just how wonderful her kisses and snuggles and lovin is. While I could be given a million years on earth with both my babies I dont think I could ever get enought from either one of them. This morning P wanted pictures and just her time and she got it. She was up early helping momma finish up Valentines and then we shot some pictures of her and her baby "stella" ahhh she loves stella and lala soooo much.

See just how precious- she had her love stinks dress on she was just missing her jail bird pants :)

These pictures make her look sooo BIG but really she is still my little sugar and while I can see she is streching out I am 100% in denial that my baby is NOT a baby. This little thing is something special and was from the day she decided to greet us and she wont EVER let you forget that!

Sweetie Pies

Me and my sweetie pies made special little pies for all there friends....although the pie baking drug out even after bed it was a FUN memory and a wonderful time with my sweet babies. Of course this momma didnt realize just how many sweet pies we would have to make by the time oyu factor in teachers and students. As always we went with a joint card although this monring my heart was a bit sad. Sad that my 2 sweet babies are not having there parties together, sad that at playtime Callen cant sneak over to the fence to say "sissy are you having a good day" and sad because I know Callen is struggling with understanding why sissy still gets to go to the school he still loves. Dont get me wrong he is striving by leaps and bounds at his new school and he gets oodles of just what he needs but still having them seperated is a hard adjustment for us all.

So now onto a little sweet treat--- and yes Callen is eating cereal at the island because he didnt want to miss a lick (and NO I only let him lick out of his bowl~we dont aide in spreading germies)

A special thank you

I knew the day would come where my little man would need a space of his own...and today was that day. Since he transfered to actual pre-school I wanted to do something that was all his own that would aide in his learning.

So today a special thank you for a gift that will keep on giving and aide in my little mans learning and when the day come to pass this on I hope there is another little love that will appreciate it just as much as Callen did tonight.

This was a present he recieved over a year back that was kept in it's little box anxiously awaiting the day it would be loved and have a special place of it's own...and again today was that day.

So THANK YOU!!!

Something Missing

The other day when me and t he kids started working on the office I knew something was missing.

There was a BIG hole in need of something.....

I remembered back to our old house and immediately knew just what that something was.

Of course there is always a catch these days and the catch was FINDING that something. So I headed to the storage building with no luck, cam home and blamed my hubs for breaking it and hiding it....yes he has done this before. Of course today in the cold as we were getting our suprise out for our little man...the hubs found it and I quickly ate my words.....and that something is PERFECT!!!

It was a GREAT day

Yesterday we ended the 1st day with PIZZA~ it was a GREAT day

in fact Callen carried the pizza boxes to the table explained that they were squares then asked what the shape of his pizza slice was.....progress in just one days time!!

My heart was happy it was full, although I knew my 2 sweeties missed eachother and her day was long without him I feel at peace over the decision and soone she will join him hopefully sooner then later.

And since you havent heard much about P lately let me fill you in on the little dear last night...she kept telling me "lala" it was soooo cute and she was using her little tonque to all its capabilities~ it took me a second to figure out she ment her baby she has 2 she loves lala and stella and last night she was all about tending to lala~ sweet sweet girl just melts my heart and she fits perfectly into our family~~

Anxious

I am anxiously awaiting to go pick my little dude up-- excited to hear about his 1st day. I know there are several others who have been just as nervous as me- thanks for calling and checking on me and sending me emails it helped to calm a jittery mom. I did cave and call at noon and got rave reviews on how he proceeded with school this morning and what a great listner and what an interacter he was-YIPEE

He is a little apprehensive that he can play with ANY and ALL the toys there when it is playtime but lets face it, it is new, the people are new and he is just getting comfotable. He has no soccer buddies, and know one that he knows but he is adjusting and it will take time and me and his daddy are ever so excited for the adventure ahead

Soaring to new heights...

Someone has a new day and new challenges facign him... I am sooo excited yet so nervous for my little guy although there is not a doubt in my mind he will love his new school.

Drop off went smooth only 1 time did I hear "uhhh if I dont like it can we talk about going to my old school" OF COURSE little man if it doesnt work out we will have a plan B but no doubt it is a perfect fit.

It was bitter sweet dropping sweet P off this morning Callens saying "have a great day sissy and I love you and will see you after school" she waved bye and sent sugars his way. These 2 LOVE eachother and bond that is inseperable and the question when I got back in the car to take Callen was "momma just a few weeks and sissy can come right?" uggghhh little man I wish just a few weeks but I obliged and said soon very soon.

So here is to new heights, new adventures, new friends and new memories

Me and my sweet muchkins again today---- hmm what to do yesterday we did cupckaes for neighbors thinking today 1/2 time cupcakes for the people who take such good care of us at DQ....and well because sweet carlie is working.

Productive Day

As I mentioned earlier today me and the 2 kids had a pretty productive day which doesnt happen all to often around here....

Tonight was FAMILY NIGHT...

A new tradition we are growing to love in our house... this week we were sooo excited to find out Uncle Chad, Craig and Cory were coming to dinner. Callen took full advantage of his time with them.

Thus far tonight there has been some serious games of hide and seek

Productive Day

It isnt very often that I can say I had a productive day while I had both itties on my own.... but toeday is quite the exception. We have cleaned the office & set it up, done the floors and the windows, straightened the garage and cleaned P's' room and closet...not to mention a yummy super is in the oven and family headed over....

Wii Championships

Tonight-- Callen shared his love of the wii with us all-- not only did we find ourselves rolling but we quickly learned he is HARD to beat and to beat him you have to put all your gusto into it. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that I could find my 3 year old beating, me, the hubs, and just about anyone he plays....patience is not a BIG vertue he has but he wants to learn each game and get it 100% right so her has most definately learned persistancy because the reason he is sooo good is because while the temps are freezing the wii and the little tikes basketball goal I moved inside have become our good friends.

And if I havent mentioned it before.....the playroom we couldnt decide on and felt like it would never get used...ummm EAT THOSE words because we LOVE it and all it intails!!
