Nannie's Birthday Party

I have to tell you Callen waited all day in excitement of Nannie's birthday party-- we had already given her a little gift before Vegas that the kids hand picked but the excitement of the day seemed to linger and leave my sweet boy wondering just when he was going to get to sing "Happy Birthday" to his Nannie....well the time arrived and the e vening was wonderful-- it was a blessing to have the family there although one little one was most defiantely missed the time together was priceless and memorable. Getting ready for the partyCousin Playtime!!Cheesy...CHEESEWrestle ManiaSomeone sweet wanted to join in--

Nannie and Callen

Wrestle Time with Nannie

Time for special cake Callen and Aunt Kim made-- and CANDLES

This Girl...

cracks me up... she has a mind all her own and when she gets in her little zone there is NO distracting her.Of course these pictures remind me of that show hoarders because she finds as many things as her little arms can hold and she takes them EVERYWHERE with her and no one is allowed to touch a thing!!

It's beginning...

to look a lot like Christmas
(We will start with the entry and dining areas)
even at our house.....
thank heavens as I wasnt to sure the spirit of the season was gong to make it there!!
and you havent even seen it all yet
(oops there is still plastic covers on the chandelier-- see baby steps)

Comfy and Cozy

All snuggled down in her highchair-- this little thing was sure comfy and cozy eating after church on Sunday!!

Sassyfras

Is watching you-- so you better be good!!
(this little girl loves to cut those eyes-- we are working with her to tone it down a bit as it is becoming a little TOO much at times)

And as you can tell we are getting there

This was before.....

the BIG head bump that left us watching P closely for the last 2 days...lets just say when you babe hits there head/neck, bleeds a little from the mouth and start vomitting multiple times it could be BAD news....we were lucky and she was very lucky-- thank heavens above someone was watching over her!!!
And here is the secret with barstools if mommy and daddy wont let you climb them..then you might as well make a game and go under them..

the funniest part was when Callen realized his head just wouldnt fit

(does anyone else have monkey see monkey do at their house??)

Can you tell???

What this little one likes--- sugary, sweet Mmmm Mm Mmmmmmm
(or maybe just maybe it was Kathy making her smile from ear to ear)

Cookie Decorating Recap

Well the cookie party was a success..the kiddos left the house sugary sweet and with handfuls of goodies and that was just our intention!
Of course the little ones played there hearts out as well. Paisley enjoyed having Miss Peyton dote on her left and right, Kooper's new found freedom to run was too cute, Miss Hallie in her boot was something to watch trample over the mounds of dirt, Brady-Luke-Maddox-Mason and Callen enjoyed a game of FOOTBALL, Makayla was a hit on the drums, Madison loved the playscape, Major let me kiss on his sweet head and ahhh melted my heart, and Tessa loved decorating cookies with miss Peyton those 2 were somehting to watch as they created little masterpieces and then there was Mackenzie who wanted so badly to meet Callen who was the same age as her (smart little cookie). And let us not forget the sleeping beauty Mackenzie who slumbered most the party--but when she woke up a BIG surprise she was able to try--- can you guess it??

Look at P she is the only girl who braved the boy table--heehehehehe

My Little Cookies

Anxiously awaiting there friends!!

Santa Baby

Little did all our sweet visitors know but we had a surprise up our sleeves...a special visitor-- SANTA
The most exciting part was each kiddo sat in his lap including Callen...what a blessing that no one screamed or cried.

Before his arrival a little rendition of The Night Before Christmas by Mrs. Hahn and several of the other children....a song about Rudolph and then low and behold the one and only SANTA!!

Ok I am going to give this a "good Ole boy try" please forgive me if I am WRONG--

Welcome Friends

I have to tell you I think there were lots of pondering minds to see if we were going to be able to pull our Cookie decorating party off-- the BIG factor was BOXES and stuff everywhere. But guess what with the help of Uncle Greg and Aunt Lindsay, our Cookie Elves and 2 little ones that were anxiously awaiting the party-- WE DID IT... it was perfect and I think everyone had a great time. I cant truly say I am so excited to start this tradition and next year let the fun begin as I forsee inviting many of our other friends to the F-U-N.
Thank you for all who came to enjoy some cookie decorating and fun for the kids!!
