BeSt OF BuDs

These two are the best of buds these days......Callen has been super excited to have Uncle Matt home the last few weeks. As you can tell anything Matt does--Callen follows suit even down to wearing Uncle Matts clothes. I hope he knows how much he is LOVED and MISSED!!! And in Callen words this is " My Matt"--lol

Can you tell---

It is 3 days before Christmas and just DOWN RIGHT CRAZY--- well it is and while I am super stressed there is never I time I dont relish in my kids---

Just look at this crazy boy trying to use a walker-- FUNNY little dude!!!

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM---

What a treat Callen's Christmas program was----although he didnt sing that much it still melted my heart!

I was so proud he stood and smiled and was soooo BIG while others cried--bless there little hearts!!

The little miss enjoyed it too as she was able to play dressup in some Christmas clothes!!

School Party

Callen had "BABY JESUS'S" birthday party last Friday- they each opened a toy that they brought for the classroom. Mommy and Callen made cupcakes with peppermint sprinkles and little frosties on top. I joined him for part of it.

This holiday season has been such a joy when you talk about Christmas to Callen it isnt about getting gifts as he reminds us it is about baby jesus's birthday. I must say I am sooo THANKFUL for a school that is instilling in him the virutes we value. Dont get me wrong he knows we do gifts and he loves to buy and receive gifts but part of me thinks he is understanding the true meaning of the holidays.Checking out his goodies he brought for his friends...it was a hit---

And as you can tell this is one of Callen's favorite buddies at school "Trevor" it is ALWAYS mommy trevor did this and me and Trevor that.....gotta love friends!!!

GIRLS ONLY--

We had a girls only Christmas party and it was a BLAST......wish I could do that weekly---lol

He's BACK---

Last night was the 1st time in 4 days we have let Callen love and kiss and hug on his sissy...

He was BACK and out to make up for old time sake

The girl was loving it as well---she is most defiantely his #1 FAN

He made her laugh (that hard belly laugh), he played with her- showing her some new goodies Mimi sent them

He snuggled with her

It was like old times----and just what I love capturing

Pappy~ we have surprises headed your way! You only thought me and my littlest elves forgot about you on this SPECIAL day!!!! Hugs, Kisses and lots of LOVE across the miles!!!

A Crack up...

This dude cracks me up.....he has an opinion about EVERYTHING (no doubt he is my kid)...what to wear, what to eat.....on our trip back from Corpus he needed is nocculars to look for deer and piggies and is glasses becaue the sun was hurting his eyes...Gotta love a dude with a mind of his own..and for most days it is GREAT but somedays it can wear on a mommies nerves

Oh little dude...

Please start feeling better....I hate keeping you away from your sister she longs for your kisses, hugs, snuggles and laughs. I hated picking you up last night and holding your burning body it scares me that something is wrong and it is more then just your ears. You were your chipper self last night until you started feeling bad but this mommy's heart aches for you because I know you are feeling icky!!

If I could put ruffle on every ounce of this little girl I would do it in a heart beat....

An AWWW moment..

Ok I know many of you are gonna laugh on this one but GO AHEAD... yesterday Callen was taking an nap and I was listening for him to wake up and hollar MOMMY as he always does each and ever time he wakes up. He was snoozing in his bed because sissy and I were hard at work cleaning etc. While in the living room cleaning all the sudden I hear hey mommy I wake up....OH my I have never been shocked and proud etc. He woke up ALL by himself, happily, climbed out of bed and came into the living room to me and sissy. It was one of those proud moments only a mom could have. Way to go little dude!!!

Happy 7 Months Sweet Girl--

Hard to believe it was just 7 months ago that God graced us with the most beautiful daughter....funny thing is that i carried her for just over 7 months too hard to believe. Sweet girl you are more then I could have ever asked for. You are the happiest baby I have ever known. You smiles are endless and there is just something magical about you. God created the most perfect human being to be my daughter and I couldn't be more blessed.

So Miss Paisley Emersyn what are you up to these days....

1. You are still nursing----YIPEE for you

2. You have officially started eating baby food--homemade baby food thus far you have only tried sweet potatoes and a banana, apple cereal mixture but you are loving it.

3. You LOVE puffs and it is soo funny because your brother loves to eat them with you

4. You are in a size 3-6 months and maybe just maybe some 6 month clothing

5. You weigh 14 lbs if that and are my petite princess

6. You wear a size 3 diapers although I could go back to 2 and they would fit perfectly and not swallow you

7. Yesterday you decided you LOVE your exersaucer and could spend hours in there with no one entertaining

8. You are defiantly a snuggle bear and love to snuggle in with us in bed and to be honest we love having you right there

9. you now love to blow bubbles it is pretty cute and you daddy thinks it is something else

10. Your brother is still your best friend you watch everything he does, take it all in and are waiting for the day you can go get him on your own without mommy and daddy's help

Paisley you are a blessing to our family of 4 and you have made us the perfect family of 4. Thank you for making me a mommy to a daughter.

Let's do the exersaucer Dance

You got it...the princess has a new special toy that she loves. Mommy even made it getting dressed with no interuptions this morning and in more then 5 minutes time frame. (Go ahead laugh but know I do get ready in 5 minutes and normally in the time span I am interupted 5 times). But NOT this morning....Callen and daddy were at the doctor and the girl in her room playing with her well there exersaucer--Callen likes to remind us he used it---isnt that fun that he sahres his baby stuff soooo well.

Needless to say the girl was in awww.....

I think she like the fact she could stand up all by her self......

Or maybe it was the fact she didnt have mommy or brother or even daddy right up in her face...nahhh she loves us too much

Either way she was one happy princess

Projects....

You know there are those days when it is wayyyyy to cold outside or raining and you need projects. Well last night mommy felt Callen needed a project that didnt involve being outside. He just wasnt his normal self...considering he criend the whole way home wanting his hat to fix his ears that were cold....should have been my 1st sign....

Second sign should have been this after the project......

Finally at 11:40 the light bulb clicked on when he woke up several times crying then finally said my ears HURT...so we jumped from couch to bed from mommy to daddy all night. And at 7:30 my suspissions were correct his ear is pink...not full blown infection but there was defiante reason to be uncomfortable. That is 2 ear infectins in a month for our little house...but now Callen says it is his turn for medicine and NOT sissy's. lol

As you can tell the project must have been can Callen paint himself...the answer is YES there is no doubt he didnt mind one bit painting his WHOLE body if momma would have just let him...oh the joys of boys!

CROSBY....

Crosby you are gonna be in BIG trouble---DADDY

That was Callen's remark last night when he saw this.....

ANd the night before Crosby was in mommy's plant throwing dirt----HMMM seems like Crosby likes to keep the boy on his toes.

Something about this AGE...

PAISLEY EMERSYN 6 ALMOST 7 MONTHS

Just makes me want to squezze her a little tighter, hold her a little longer, and kiss her a little more. I tell you there isnt a day that goes by that I dont thank the heavens above for what they have blessed us with. She is my little firecracker she came with a bang and her loveable personality and sure fire spirit will melt your heart. I LOVE looking at the two when they are the same age....she still has her chubby cheeks maybe it is because she is still nursing and with Callen is was LONG over...maybe it is her homemade baby food or maybe just maybe she will have chubby cheeks....a momma can hope. You know that first day in the hospital with her when the nurses were giving her fat...they said one day she will come back to us and be mad that we injected FAT into her system....I say thanks because that fat in those cheeks is 100% PURE YUMMY....
