I was once lost but now I am found..... after a horrible encounter with blogger and it taking away ALL my post from 2007 I am now realizing just how much this blog means to me. Especially at 9 at night when Callen crawls in my lap and want me to read stories of when he was a baby....YES that is when I noticed 2007 was gone in panic mode I search and aided HELP and nothing. So today I vow to blog not for me but for my sweet babies. I want to savor the moments and be able to read the post and be in that moment of time. YES this is a commitment and as busy as I get this is something I enjoy and last night CALLEN enjoyed too. So here is to blogging and getting back into the swing of things!!

PLEASE READ ME A STORY...
Just after build a bear we decided to go and eat....in the midst of eating the 2 little girls at our table were growing a bit restless as neither likes to be contained. So I decided to take them out in the mall to wear out some of the endless energy they had.....lets jsut say that was NOT a good idea with the escalator right there. Upon realizing that they were going to continue to try and go down alone I decided to take them to the book store.
P has always loved a good book and she immediately went and sat down to read to Madi. They were both very sweet to eachother and as you can tell they each had a favorite book ;)
BUILD A BEAR 2011
AS YOU CAN SEE THE BLOG IS SUFFERING THIS MONTH MAINLY BECAUSE WE HAVE BEEN OUT AND ABOUT HAVING FUN AND DOING LOTS OF TRAVELING. THE 1ST WEEKEND OF THE MONTH WE TRAVELED TO DALLAS TO SPEND THE WEEKEND CELEBRATING KAYDENS 6TH BIRTHDAY. IT WAS A BIT OF AN ADVENTURE PAISLEY WAS IN THE MIDST OF POTTY TRAINING, CALLEN WANTED TO KNOW IT IS WAS 80 OR 40 MORE MINUTES TILL WE GOT THERE AND SWEET MACKENZIE WELL SHE WAS THE TALKER OF THE CROWD AS SHE DIDNT WANT TO MISS A THING. LUCKILY FOR LINDSAY AND MYSELF WE MADE IS SAFE AND SOUND WITH ALL 3 KIDDOS IN TOW. UPON ARRIVAL WE (WELL ALL 5 LITTLES AND UNCLE MATT) MADE BEARS, DOGS, CATS AND MONKEYS...ACTUALLY NO BEARS THE BOYS MADE LONGHORNS (IT WAS MIGHTY FUNNY).
CALLEN AND KAYDEN EACH MADE A LONGY ONE IN A COWBOYS OUTFIT AND ONE IN A LONGHORN OUTFIT, P MADE A PUPPY AND BOY SHE WAS DRESSED A LITTLE FLOOZIE LIKE BUT I LET P DRESS HER ;), MADI MADE A KITTY IN JAMMIES AND MACKENZIE MADE A SWEET LITTLE MONKEY WITH LOTS OF BLING. ALL IN ALL I WOULD SAY BUILD A BEAR WAS A SUCCESS AND A GREAT START TO THE BIRTHDAY WEEKEND.

This is how we ride the picker...
Ride the picker...
Ride the picker...
As you can tell they like to make funny faces on the window of Daddy's cotton picker. While we had a blast picking cotton we are glad to see it go because it means fall is alomost upon us and for any of you living in Texas you know it means a bit cooler weather.
This year Paisley was at the age she could sit on her own and I am telling you my little pricess LOVED riding the picker of course she only made it a round or two before she was out like a light (man I need to learn the trick). Callen of course likes to get into the technical side- what is this? what does that do? and so forth-- lets just say daddy had his hands FULL. It has been a wild ride this harvest and we are glad to see it come and go and ready to see what the remainder of the year brings ( I am still rooting for a fall crop- and daddy thinks I am NUTS)
