Easter 2011

We had a fabulous Easter of course we missed our Austin family and friends but will be seeing them SOON!!!!

It was filled with lots of goodies, family and loads of wonderful food. Let's jsut say my kids were spoiled rotten.

A WHALE OF A TALE

I KNOW THIS IS GOING TO SHOCK MANY OF YOU BUT 2 WEEKENDS AGO MY SWEET BABIES GOT TO GO ON A WONDERFUL ADVENTURE. I AM SO BLESSED TO HAVE PARENTS THAT TOOK PICTURES TO DOCUMENT THE FUN~ LETS JSUT SAY MOMMY AND DADDY WERENT INVITED(SHHH WE WERE BUT MIMI AND PAPPY KNEW WE HAD A SURPRISE PARTY SO THEY INVITED THE KIDDOS). NEEDLESS TO SAY THEY CAME BACK WITH ALL SORTS OF TALES....THERE IS NO DOUBT FUN WAS HAD BY ALL.

I AM LEARNING TO LET GO INCH BY INCH BUT MAN THAT 24 HOURS WAS HARD I YEARNED FOR MY SWEET BABIES, THE SOUNDS OF LAUGHTER AND TANTRUMS THAT FILL OUT HOUSE, SWEET SNUGGLES, A WARM KISSES, RUBS ON MY ARMS AND PATS ON THE BACK....SOON WE WILL TRY 2 NIGHT WITHOUT THE LITTLE ONES SLOWLY INCHING TOWARDS A VACATION WITH OUT THESE 2 LITTLE BLESSINGS...BUT NOT JUST YET. TO MANY THIS MAY SEEM SILLY BUT THE REALITY IS THIS WAS THE 1ST TIME I HAVE EVER SPENT AWAY FROM PAISLEY AND ONLY THE 2ND FROM CALLEN IT WAS HARD BUT I KNOW WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT MY BABIES ENJOYED EVERY MOMENT OF THE

These days we find ourselves playing outside ALOT while we all wish and pray for rain daily still none yet.....so send up your prayers and help us change this crazy Texas weather pattern.

Of course my sweet babies prefer to be outside fro mthe time we pull up in the driveway these days a few slithery creatures are making me hesitant--- in our neighborhood EACH neighbor has killed a very poisonous snake (each a different kind) unfortunately that includes us as well....Ack snakes go away

So with a very watchful eye I stand guard. Our house is always open to any bubble blowers that would like to join us!!!

Ladybug BASH!!

Did you know someone special and ohhh so sweet just celebrated her 1st birthday!!! Yes hard to believe Miss Madilyn Grace had official joined the ranks of being 1. I remember awaiting her arrival just like it was yesterday.....any whooo onto the party FUN. 2 weekends ago we traveled to Dallas to celebrate with the little ladybug....it was a great time for all.

Her sweet little party was just paradise for all to enjoy. She is one loved little girl.

Soccer Sleepover

Friday night we had a FABULOUS get together at the house.....we decided to end out season we would have a sleepover party because I think the last party gave Pizza Hut a run for their $$$. It was the perfect evening-- wild boys having the time of their lives, sweet girls playing baby to the point we even use DIAPER for our babies and mommies chitty chatting and watching little ones scamper about. So relaxing so fun and such memories. We did miss several of our players sweet Campton and Keegan were unable to attend because Campton has a little run in with the golf club-- he is doing well but please do keep their family in your prayers as that evening around 11:30 they had a home fire~ all were able to get out safely and I know they are starting to re-build a new home life (I could imagine just how difficult this has been for them) WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

At the party we had loads of goodies to eat and drink, a confetti egg fight for the boys, movies and good times we ended the party with homemade doughnuts and lots of hugs to tide us over till baseball season. So the sleepover was a SUCCESS!!!

Even the diva was awake till almost midnight---she would not leave the boys sight finally I got her to agree to sleeping on the couch--hehehehehe

Let the Easter Extravaganza begin....

It is that time EASTER.... this year it is a little hard having 2 at different school the benefit is they have different party days ;) Today we begand with Callen's Easter Party (have I told you we LOVE his school). The Easter bunny comes around ummm 10:30 brings 300 packed eggs (all done by Aunt Suzie) and the kids scurry to catch him~ rumor has it he has NEVER been caught. From there they have a Easter party and at 11:15 I am brining pizza for lunch (more so a treat for Aunt Suzie s oshe doesnt have to cook). This year I decided to get creative again...something new something NOT cupcakes. I think I succeeded of course ask me tomorrow when I have to make 20 of these cute little ship....12 not so bad 20 YIKES!! But ever so worth the end result- when I see the sparkle in my little ones eyes or the 1st sweet little one at school to say "wow" I know it is perfect....while I it may not be perfect to me. So here is to the start of a WILD Easter Extravaganza Week.....from today till Sunday it is going to be Easter sun up to sun down.

Ding Dong....

Anyone home on this BLOG....hehehehhe apparently I have been slacking but I promise updates soon. I have several post coming so hold on tight because it is going to be a whirlwind of post.

I LOVE these 2...

Of course you can tell from the picture this was Monday before the "accident". These days you can find us up at the ballaprk watching our favorite players-- it consist of Kendall, Cody, Shelby & Ethan. Of course my 4 year old has alterier motives to the ballpark just look at what he is eating--he thinks BASEBALL means "sip ups". Now the littlest in our family hey she doenst care on bit take her and she will find a new best friend each and every time, once it was Marty, Monday it was Mr. Gridnt and last night it was Uncle Carl.....I am so blessed that we are able to attend games and that my kids are a part of the FUN. Callen now takes is bat, ball, and glove to the games and last night was in HEAVEN playing with the older little boys-- who cares if he is fetching the ball 90% of the time- he doesnt. So when the lights come on (since they are basically in our backyard) I know one of my itties will be asking "Mom, when are we going to baseball"

Bruiser

Just shy of 48 hours after her fall she is starting to look better.....I will admit I am still unsure if she will take her 2 year old pictures Friday or if we will move to next week but only time will tell. And I may just say take them becaue if NOT next week it maybe a pink cast knowing this little lady. She has been doctored every 2 hours at school and as of this morning it was scabbing nicely. As you can all tell this little lady is go go go her arm is scrapped fro mthe shoulder to the wrist and make it a little uncomfortable for baths but with her you would NEVER know. Gotta love a diva who is always in action.

It is sooooo funny because they know they are not supposed to do this...and the minute we stand up to go talk to them-- they decide it is time to be UP and AT'EM

The funny thing is Callen and Daddy put Callen's jersey on P the other day and she LOVED it loved it soooo much that she refused to have it taken off.....
