Where has May gone?

WoW...it is hard to bleieve may has come and once again gone. I must admit May 2009 was a whirlwind it started as a GREAT month (mother's day) and ended as a GREAT month (mommy of 2). But I must admit as bittersweet as it was I am glad to see it go. Because the in between of the month was long, hectic, crazy and scary to say the least. Never did I imagine that my sweet little girl would arrive 7 weeks early and be a May baby. However she came with a bang and gave this mommy quite the scare. In all honesty the olny thing I remember about that morning she was born was praying in my head as they started the c-section "Please come out crying, please let me hear something, please be ok, please watch over her and let her be a strong little figher"...well as you all know someone was listening and ALL my prayers were awnsered. She came out with the strongest little cry a sound I will never forget and as hard as it was not to be able to hold her or kiss her in those following hours I knew she was in good hands. The funny thing is just Sunday one of little missy's nurses said there a pictures of her on the NICU bullentin board with her BIG bows....and let me tell you the little girl was loved it showed as they took adorable pictures of her, would call us about her and they were in all honesty a saving grave over those 8 longs days while she was there. Once home I must admit I was concerned about her brother who as we all know is a BIG momma's boy-- how would he adjust, how would he act towards her, how would he handle mommy notpicking him up and all the changes that we hadnt yet started adjusting him for. Well he AMAZED me and made my heart grow even more. He LOVES his sister, loves to hold her, loves to lay with her head to head in mommy's bed while we all snuggle, he helps change her diaper and ALWAYS ask about my sister or sister Paisley. He is gonna make it and he is an AMAZING big brother. So with Paisley home and my two precious boys and a crazy May 2009 we must say we are glad to see you go!!! June has started off great.....Paisley passed her 1st hearing test however she will have to go to Corpus as she has failed one test---God willing it is due to under-development and that when we get there she passes with flying colors if not I know we will be ok....she will be ok--she is a fighter (the test she has failed is from the nerve to the brian- showing she is reading the information) if the test isnt good then we will go from there. Her breathing will be tested tomorrow as she has given us a few scares but always sees to be able to "catch" her breath back. Also on the first day of June Greg came home....I must tell you he was missed and he is LOVED by all espcially Callen who I think has adopted him for the next 20 + days. In fact last night he wouldnt ride the tractor with his daddy he wanted Greg and this morning you guessed it he sat at the bedroom door till his Greg woke up......oh my sweet silly boy. Now that sweet boy has some other BIG changes coming and I pray he amazes me there. Next Tuesday he starts pre-school.....this will be the first time he has ever been with more then 2 kids and not with our beloved Jane-Jane. Wish him luck because he will need it as he isnt and easy transistioner. Other then that we are praying for some rain that is in dire need, in fact it worries me at time to see the look on Chris's face because it says it all- and more then anything I dont want him to loose what he has worked so hard for and spent countless hours nurturing....please prayer for rain this week. As you can tell things are crazy and busy and fun and I wouldnt change them for the world we are truely blessed, blessed for our family our dear friends and another beautiful day. Take it all in....time flies, things change, unexpected things happen and life is so very uncertain. Sending hugs and kisses and lots of love across the miles...... Chris, Lauren, Callen McKray and Paisley Emersyn
