Cookie Party with a TWIST

In December we held our annual cookie decorating party..... this year we added a TWIST which was so much FUN~ Gingerbread houses

The kids enjoyed every moment. Of course living in Texas you never know what the weather will hold. This year it was HOT and muggy making it hard to keep gingerbread houses in place...most ended in a landslide but it was sure fun to watch them come together.
I think Pappy enjoyed it just as much as the kids ;)
Sweet Saylor had the tallest of the gingerbread houses
Little Miss Addie loved eating just the icing
Peytons gingerbread house had an added garage
Reagan was super excited hers didnt MELT!!
Kayleigh enjoyed picking out just the right candy
Braxton preffered the car and taking charge
Pappy's finished creation
Love the candy cane light pole
This is what they looked like before we ever started
It was a mess of candy and kids-- I hope this tradition never end even if they are 16 and come to eat and leave
Ahhh Kooper he made a pump house for the farm
Remington he preferred to eat the candy.. a boy on the GO

Thank you to all who came and made the party a wonderful time... I hope we can look back over the years and watch all these sweet babies grow together. I LOVE living in a small community

God really does make a FARMER

It's funny---- this morning I awoke to a dear sweet friends text saying "GOD MADE A FARMER! Dodge commercial my favorite. Reminded me of you guys!" That is when I knew I had to see it pretty sure if it touched her it would touch me. And my did it. I will be the first to admit this time of year is hard it is go go go on top of everyday life. That was just the reminder I needed because God truely did make a farmer! We are blessed that our sweet family of 4 can call ourselves a farming family. And blessed we have a daddy that supports us the way he does. From rides on the tractor, to writing our names on cotton modules, to countless dinner eaten in the middle of a field....at the end of the day it is a LOVE and a PASSION you cannot understand unless you have it running in your veins. Thank you GOD for blessing me with a  FARMER!

Paige's Wedding

We had a fabulous time at cousing Paige's wedding..... It is so fun to see all the kids together running around and really enjoying themselves. To me it is one of those friendly reminders of what makes this world so special--- These girls are the BEST of FRIENDS and I cannot wait to watch them all grow together over the years!

Let me introduce them to you since it has been soooo incredibly longs since I have blogged. From let to right you have Miss Madi-- she has a attidue all her own and she will never let anyone bully her around. Next, you have Sweet Paisley or is it Sassy Paisley-- watch out this girl knows what she wants and she knows which facial expression is going to get it for her... never a dull moment. Finally you have Move-over Mackenzie-- she is the toughest of little kids you will ever meet she is a momma loving little girl with bones of steel. Callen ask me regularly HOW IS SHE SOOO TOUGH?

These girls are very similar to the 3 stooges hmmm wonder if we could do a femail re-make

Loving her....

Never gets old..... she is something sweet and sassy all rolled into one and I am proud to be her momma

1st running of the G for Callen

Remember me saying we go to a SMALL school where elementry, junior and the high school are all combined. Well the BIGGEST perk is when it is football friday they all attend the pep ralley, they all know where the football game is and they ALL support the indians.
As Callen linned up for the 1st time to run through the teepee I have to tell you I was so excited for him. This is a BIG step for my shy little guy and he too was full of excitement.

Out they all run in a full sprint.... they are there to support the indians, the high fives from the team-mates to the little kids, the cheers from the stands. A reason to Thank GOD for putting me in the right little small town that my sweet family can be raised....

Kelsey's Wedding Shower

What a wonderful was to spend a Saturday morning.... celebrating Uncle Chad and Kelsey's upcoming wedding!!!
There were sweet little visitors, wild crazy visitors ( my kids ) and lots of people in between!
My sweet boy was quite the helper making sure he gave Kelsey the BIGGEST presents 1st ;)
He also enjoyed a nice game of tug of war with the littlest of the boys Braxton.... of course I have a feeling he wont be little for long and soon will give his BIG cousins a run for there money ;)
Sweet little Claire all dressed in pink.... she was snoozing but couldnt you just KISS thoose cheeks!
Little Caroline... made sure she was watching the action from a distance... it was busy kids all around her
The couple and the hostesses-- pretty looking group

1st Day of KINDERGARTEN

Let me apologize for the crooked pictures for some reason it is uploading them sideways ;)
Ahhh the 1st day of kindergarten.. what a BIG day for Callen and mommy ;) I will tell you I was anxious, nervous, excited, scared and ready for this new adventure. I thank the man upstairs everyday that he let me be the mommy to Callen and to see his many 1st. I know the feeling I had were many of the same that Callen was having hard to believe 5 years has flown by and we are starting kindergarten!
We decided that morning to walk to school with our sweet buddy Luke G. it was a beautiful day for a walk... dont they look sooooo BIG!!

Welcome boys to Ganado Elementry..... we are so excited about your new adventure. For those of you t hat dont know Callen attends a very very small school~ one where the elementry, jr and high schools are all in one. They share the same gym, the same cafeteria alot of the same teachers and EVERYBODY  knows you by your name ;) While I know he isnt going to the biggest or greatest school around I also love having peace of mind that we attend school with such a close nit group of friends, family and people that we know and see in our daily lives. I also love knowing that nothing in his life will ever be a secret~ shhhh dont tell Callen because when he is 16 and a little trouble maker his momma is gonna know ;)
His 1st school breakfast.... he wanted to try breakfast but bring his lunch.... pretty easy request right? Well not for the pickiest eater around ;)
Off we go to you classroom... full of excitement and wonder
Meet Mrs. Silliman she is wonderful.... we are blessed to have her and the coolest thing about it is she was Uncle Greg and Uncle Matts kindergarten teachers. I hope she can handle having 3 Hajovsky boys ;)

As you can tell the 1st day was great- the excitement and the fun has just begun and we are blessed beyond measure to share it with a wonderful teacher and classmates!
