Paisley's Sweet Shoppe

Sweet P had her 1st birthday party this Saturday and it was WONDERFUL-- hard to believe my girl is 1

We opened presents with a sleeping beauty-- and I have to admit I HATED doing that because that should have been her moment and I should have just stood my ground -- however will she remember? probably not but sleeping during presents Sweet P that is just your style and you were in little girl heaven when you awoke

Muffins with Mom

Today was a special day with Callen-- we woke up this morning to him saying "Mom today is FRIDAY and just you and me get to have muffins".... yep little dude it was a great treat to spend the morning with you of course it was also generous of you to give mommy your milk and uh hmm you take my water-- you clever little boy

(Ignore the stuffed car right now it houses LOTS of little birthday goodies!!)

Thank you sweet boy for making me a mommy and for being a wonderful, thoughtful son you truly are a one of a kind.

Progress

Oh my I am thrilled at the progress taking place-- and while I pray more then anything that we get some rain for our crops and that it will slow progress down it just hasnt happended yet--

Soooo lets rally together and pray for rain mayber mothers day-- see because then our progress would delay the slab that is set to be poured Monday and rain would be WONDERFUL god given treat!!

Soo you can see these pictures are as of Wednesday--- we are trencehed 36 inches down, we are plumbed and we are ready for rebar (which as of yesterday was in)

I am amazed to see guys working on Sundays, after 6 and calling for decisions on doors, brick, tubs etc.

These men are making my dream come true and before long there will be framing, then walls then the FUN part for this mommy begins

It's PLAYOFF time

and we are sooooo very excited to have been able to be there when the INDIANS WON last night... we were rootin hard and you can tell there was one little boy who was thrilled to be at the game

and there was one little girl who was pretty excited to finally be able to attend at game

hard to believe Playoffs last year sweet P made her debut just under 2 months early--

This was her 1st time in a walker--- and she had her eyes set on a mission

She is off to the races

Mission accomplished--now if she could only TURN the walker

It is a bond that tickles my heart-- and lets me know choosing to have a sibling for Callen was the best choice and gift we could have ever decided on-- these 2 love eachother to the "moon and back and all the stars" as Callen would say---

A Smile to brigthen your DAY!!!

The TERM Uncle

Well my sweet little boy---

Yes the one above has deemed the word Uncle to those who are very special to him-- for quite some time he has said "David or Greg or Matt" well this past week we FINALLY got him to refer to Carl as "Uncle Carl" thank heavens is sounds soooo much more polite the hollaring CARL-- Unfortunately he has also deemed some new Uncle's now keep in mind they arent strangers just those who he knows should have special names-- like Uncle Kendall and Uncle Carlie (sweet boys these are both GIRLS)

and our newest addition UNCLE Chris-- and it isnt daddy

Uncle Chris is a close family friend and relative down the line in daddies family :)

But reassured Callen looks up to Chris and as you can tell the sissy is quite fond of him as well and Chris knows a thing or two about girls-- because he has 2 awesome sisters who I HOPE will take Paisley under there wing and teach her all about sports-

See I send P there way so maybe they can instill it in her early-- Girls dont let the bow fool you she is one tough chick as she has a brother who is NEVER easy on her--lol

This thing---

has some SERIOUS character--- I have decided she craves getting others attention especially little ones her size or smaller---

she grins and smiles and now chats with you till she accomplishes getting your attention

and when she has it she must decide what to do with it

and getting some LOVIN is #1--

This morning I am singing my PRAISES to the man upstairs-- it is official the little mousey we had is GONE!!! thanks bunches daddy for capturing the guy.

My Sweet little Callen wanted to pet him-- I had to explain the difference between a field mouse and a pet mouse (not that we will EVER have one of thoose) but I dont want him afraid because there was a time he was scared of roaches due to his momma who cant stand them more then ANYTHING --in fact I can go within 10 feet of one they are just the end all to me--- so I am trying new aproaches so that my babies arent like me-- and it is working as C wanted to pet it--lol

Just a ROLLIN'

That is exactly what my boys were doing last week-- with the help of the Parks' boys--thanks guys!! and most importantly THANKS daddy for spending morning, noon and night up there!!

**** I do want to let you all know Callen is buckled in tight and his daddy ALWAYS airs on the side of caution this has been the ONLY open cab anything he has been on in his life-- he was not allowed on the backhoe and right now we are in the process of getting him a special "little hardhat" because where daddy is Callen is-- and remember per Callen's words "I am building you a special house mommy" and trust me he is every evening this is the 1st palce we go although the last 2 days he hasnt gotten much play time string and trenches dont mix with a 2 year old!!
