Baseball Tuesday

Last night we had a special little spectator and we were FINALLY on the shaded field but it didnt matter because the sun was hiding (go figure).

Once again our little hooks kept us entertained...but let me tell you the other team kept us rolling the sweet little players would run 2 to a base and at one point the little girls stated fighting over who should or shouldnt be on the base...lets just say our coach broke it up ;)

All in all it was a great game with a great crowd-- THANKS Kayden for watching Callen I know he loved having you there!!

Mommy and Me time

Myself and this little sassy pants were able to spend Sunday together....it is rare when bubba isnt around but he was at a sleepover still and then went to help his cool cousins (well Chris's cousins and Callen's "playbuddies" finish cutting corn) sooooooo what did me and the sweet little sugar do. We did some plant shopping now we just need that flower bed we are hoping this weekend~rain, rain go away. We also snapped a few pictures of her with Miss Jen.

He did it....

Let me warn you I have NO pictures for this post... but I have to document the moment.

I can proudly day that for the 1st time ever Callen has spent the night away with friends by choice!! He has never stayed at a friends house he has always let me know that he would call when he was ready to come home. But Saturday night it was different he never said he was going to call, he never hesitated and he even told me mom I will see you tomorrow. Of course I had my doubts but SUnday morning when I woke at 6:20 my immediate reaction was I missed the call-- but low and behold no missed call. Callen offcially spent the night at Brady's house-- with Brady and Luke.

I have to admit he has stayed away from us for maybe a handful of time with family and but you know the 1st official sleepover away from home I must document-- silly to some yes but a memory for me.

Callen I am so proud of you everyday you are growing in new ways and you never cease to amaze me you are my 1st sweet baby, the once who is ever so cautious, the one who wants to verify things 10 times just so that you are sure, the one who tends to be a bit needy at times and you are most defiantely growing into a wonderful young boy. No longer a toddler -- I see daily the strides you are taking and look forward to the journey we will share ahead

But let me be the 1st to say there is NO doubt they will be well worth the wait!!

A glimpse at real life....

These are the moments--- that seem to scream REAL LIFE.

It isnt always pretty, it isnt always happy and it is NEVER perfect

but it is something I wouldnt trade for all the money in the world

I love how Callen has been teaching his sister to brush her teeth it beat us having to hold her down while she is creaming and bruch them. It creates laughter at the start and end of our days because they are always laughing. I love how he puts her tooth paste on her brush (like a little old couple)....it is these moments that take my heart away

This was our start of the morning (Callen is in swimm lessons so he gets to sport his suit 1st rattle out of the box)

HOMERUN....

Last night my little man first rattle out of the box slammed that ball all the way to the fence (keep in mind out field is very far from the fence).... I was one proud momma!!

As you can tell we have a very supportive team!

She's CRAZY....

This little girl in my life LOVES people....I often wonder what others think when she is 1st trying to get there attention. As you can tell at baseball last night she was making no exception in trying to swoon the other team and its players ;)

Funny thing after me and the kids left baseball I bravely atempted to take them to Red Lobster because all they wanted was CRAB LEGS (yes they boht LOVE them)-- so we went and while there Paisley made 3 new friends all elderly couples but as hard as I try not to let her bother people it is a done deal the 1st time the acknowledge her and that was the case last night.

I will say I was mighty proud at just how good they both were at the restuarant--- whew because momma was a bit worried I had bitten off more then I could chew

Do you see what I see....

For 2 years this bad boy has been sitting in a box waiting for our forever home......so Sunday it was time to break it open and get it up ;)

Let just say we all learned patience....thanks to an incredible set of helping hands it is up and ready for all the little jumpers to come on over and JUMP there hearts out!!!

Since the pictures were taken it now has the safety enclosure up and all little ones will be kept safely inside-- baring an injury with jumping partners ;)

Lemonade stand was a HOT hit....

Lets just say a lemonade stand in July in Texas is defiantly assured 1 thing...it is going to be HOT and a hit because we all like to cool off. Thank heavens Aunt Susie has BIG shade trees and cool green grass and good company otherwise it could of been a HOT mess.

We had a little cutie come to the lemonade stand and lets just say my kids couldn't stand it out they came to PLAY ;) although they did politely serve them prior...and even went back when daddy arrived to serve him Callen pouring the lemonade and Paisley handing out the popcorn. Over all I would say it was a success

Today is the day...it is the kids fundraiser at school and yes you guessed it

It is a POPcorn and Lemonade stand

We as always wear our red shirts (to remember our soliders) and P is sporting the cutest popcorn bow that we have had for sometime and since it had a hint of red it won over the lemon bows :)

We donated the ice for the lemonaide and we even made the cutest little PINK lemonade cupcakes for the class

As always we are so blessed to be a part of this sweet school family and we are so excited to attend our 1st POPcorn and lemonade stand gathering. From what we have been told it is the BIGGEST turnout of lemonade stands all family, friends and neighbors come out to support these little ones. So if you are in the area today at 4 come on by I know 2 little loves that would LOVE to see YOU---

Happy 4th of July from our Family to yours...

We had a wonderful 4th of July it was filled with a parade, bounce houses, snow cones, a picnic, swimming, face painting and travel back home

When we arrived me and the kiddos did poppers i nthe driveway and watched fireworks on TV. Due to the drought this year there was a strick ban and while I thought about pulling the sparlers out I figured it wasnt in my best intrest.

Hot and Sunny with NO chance of Rain

As you can tell baseball falls when it is HOT & SUNNY....and lucky for us both times we have drawn the field that is in FULL sun. Needless to say it hampers our cheering abilities when you are constantly squinking.

(and YES a sonic cup full of ice is the 1st choice of the little sassy thing in our house)

But I can promise you one thing we are there to support bubba no matter what!

That's as good as her cheese gets under those circumstances

Little Miss Sunshine

I am not sure how I missed posting about Little Miss Sunshine starting at Aunt Susie's but it is OFFICIAL brother and sister are back together again......

It was a hard adjustment for her at nap time however Aunt Susie accomidated her "need" and her and brother are temporarily being allowed to nap together rather then one being in the boy room and the little diva being in the girl room crying for her bubba. When I tell you these 2 love eachother there are honestly NO words until you just see that moment and it are those moments I am forever grateful for the time they are able to share eith eachother.

(and the 1st morning it was raining and cool outside Callen thought he needed a jacket he quickly decided it wasnt the right decision in this TEXAS weather)

It's BASEBALL time....

Our baseball season officially started last Tuesday while we have been practicing for several weeks this was the 1st official game. I will tell you there were lots of laughs to be had. These boys preffered more of a tackle like aproach when it came to getting the ball.

We are going to try and be a bit more organized this week as it seemed like fun chaos last week.....of course these are the moments you have to sit back and relax and remember it is ALL about having FUN

Of course to this little guy he gives 100% and is quite the little hitter

We enjoyed watching him and I know his #1 cheerleader enjoyed her job as he always reminds her before the game to hollar "go bubba go"
