Friday = Football Friday

Well Firday we headed to Shiner......see that morning we told Callen that Kaleb's mommy was going to keep sissy while we went to the football game and Callen responded with "Ok Kaleb come?" so needless to say we asked Kaleb's mommy and daddy if he could tag along with us while Miss Paisley got all girl time with Holly and her mom.....

We had a blast.....the boys ran hard, played hard and ate a bit of everything in site!!! Needless to say we will definately be doing it again very soon!!!!

Only a week late.....

Missy Prissy it is so hard to believe you are a 5 months old. Sometimes it feels like just yesterday that you were coming into this world with a BIG bang and while I hope to never have to relive those days I am sooooo glad we are living these days together. Not only are you a joy but your bright smile and happy go lucky attitude make even the darkest days shiny again! SO what are you up to?
Smiling like there isnt anything better to do in life--- and I am beginning to wonder is there?
Loving that BIG brother of yours...you love to watch what he is doing and you want to be right there by his side
You are still my itty bitty thing wearing size 1-2 diapers and maybe if we are lucky fitting into 3 month clothing.
You love to eat and just this past Sunday we gave you a taste of cereal....thinking you could wait a while because your face said "no more of that stuff momma---just keep giving me milk"
Big bows still look the best on you little girl and there isnt a day that goes by that we dont get to play a little dress up but isnt that what little girls are for?
You love to be tickled and you laugh like nobodys business when you are being tickled...makes us chuckle every time
You have started playing in your bobby and exersaucer and you love to grab at your toys.
Sweet sweet baby thank you for making our family of 3 a family of 4 you are just what we needed and longed for.....our days and even this mommy's nights are sweet with your little smiling face! Hugs and Kisses

Picking Pumpkins....

We headed out Wednesday night so that Callen could pick him and sissy a pumpkin.....they were precious pumpkins just right for a 2 year old. And let me tell you this boy LOVES his pumpkins.....he was so thoughtful in picking out sissy's pumpkin and Kayden a pumpkin. Our new routine when we get home is for him to tell me which pumpkin is who's.......

Hmmm let's find just the right pumpkins

Picking Kayden's Pumpkin

And yes I know the pictures of sissy are getting few and far between but normall I am stealing all her sugars rather then snapping her picture but this weekend that is going to change!!!

It's been WAY tooo long.....

If you only knew how much these people mean to me......this week has been like a dream to have Sherri and her precious girls, Mam, LaFawn and Lexi all doiting over my precious little girl. Let me tell you these girls while not all pictures mean the world to me. They were my first actual friends here in Jackson County---heck they adopted me and there babies were my babies although they are bigger now and dont we dont have all the time we used to to spend together there is still that magical bond...You know the kind where you pick up right where you left off. And those girls whenever they see you are the friendlist, sweetest things around--just genuine.
Man I miss them---so having SHerris watch my little princess while all the others dance around her and help and love on her---JUST DREAMY!!!

And I have to tell you this "Grandmother aka MAM" is the cutest granny in all of Jacskon County----and as sweet as you will get out!!! Look at her loving my babe--can you tell Paisley is lovin it!

Date Night....Something out of the Ordinary

What do you do on a Friday night...when it is cold and raining and both your kids have been to the doctor? Hmmmm Oh yeah and the oldest keeps asking for football that he has waited ALL week for?
You have date night...but make sure it is one of those out of the ordinary

Well Daddy and Paisley stayed home and watched football on TV and had some good snuggle time since neither of them were feeling the greatest. And Mommy and Callen hit the road for some bowling since it was raining and chilly.......he was super excited and I must admit he was VERY well behaved.

Getting ready to bowl....look at that excitement on his face.

Roll that ball Callen!!! ----

Looks like we have a good bowler on our hands....every time he hit lots of pins down he would jump up and say YESSSSS-- keep in mind they were having a tournement and I think they got a good laugh at my little dude.

Waiting on our ball to come back......come on little ball...

After bowling we hit up McD's for some chicken nuggets and we even made it to the game for a little football action and to watch the BAND!!! Needless to say we had a GREAT time. Thanks Callen for the date mommy really enjoyed it!

My Girl.....

No she isnt teething--that I am aware of. This girl just prefers her FINGERS!!! and heck why not I wouldnt want some ol rubber passie stuck in my mouth. Plus from this mommy's point of view NEVER again do I want to have to break a child of a passie.....Yes I know you can get rid of a passie but not the fingers but come on do you think she is gonna chew on 4 fingers for the rest of her life----NO

School Carnival

Well last Saturday after the Fair Parade we headed over to Callen's school for his school Carnival. Let me tell you he was one lucky little boy not only did he have mommy, daddy and sissy but he also had Aunt Lindsay, Uncle Greg and Nani come to his carnival!! As soon as we walked through the gates he eyed the snow cone machine so we headed over for a yummy snow cone (seeing as he and I got one of these everyday afterschool ALL summer--remember folks it's Texas = HOT). Then Callen decided he wanded a pumpkin aka punkin painted on his face and I thought yeah lets see how this goes.....much to my surprise he was so good and actual got a pumpkin painted on his face!

We then headed on over to Callen's favorite Miss Michelle for the cake walk......and surprisingly he did great with all the BIG kids he even won on the second go round...YEAH CALLEN!

By the time daddy arrived Callen had noticed ball and throwing and of course anyone who knows him knows he LOVES baseball...so we headed on over to the dunking booth where he dunked a little boy--look at that ball way up in the air!!!

Next was to Miss Dalena for the pumpkin balance bars........careful big boy dont drop the HEAVY pumpkin!!!

Then to Miss Tammy for the bean bag toss......good job!!! You get a prize

So after we ate we headed on over for one last necessity......a GREEN truck!! so all in all you can tell someone had a BLAST!!!

THANKS FOR THE MATCHY MATCHY SHOT!!!!

It's that time of year....

That's right you guessed it...It is FAIR week in Jackson County and this year we decided to kick it off with a bang. Me and the kiddos and Aunt Lindsay headed to Edna to watch the parade...luckily for us sweet Cousin Kendall parked her car the night before so we could have a birds eye view of the show. Once we got there we met Nannie and like a bunch of crazies watched the parade....Callen's favorite part were the horsey's, Paisley's was the lovin and birds eye view, mine was watching their little faces light up and having those we love there with us. Thank you Thank you Thank you for the help....it means more then you know because with out it the parade would NOT have been possible.

Waiting on Kendall to arrive and the anticipation.....look there are soooo many people!!THe princess sitting in Aunt Lindsay's lap...LOVING the attention!!

Paisley and Nani watching the parade as they go by....doesnt missy flower match Nani's shirt well?
Ahhh YES a mommy and Callen shot...thanks bunches Kendall as I am always the picture taker and love to have a few pictures with my sweet babies! Sorry we didnt get any Kendall shot I promise at the fair we are going to hunt you down and get a shot of you with the two cutest cowpokes in town!!
