Soccer Saturday

Saturday was our 1st soccer game-- and it was a BLAST! All the kids played a great game the final score was 6 to 2 for those who kept score. Callen was quite the little aggressor being right in the middle fighting for the ball of course there were times he prefered the tackle method but a little of that is to be expected right?

Kids Gone WILD

Only me as a mother would post these pictures-- but I want to share with you all my children are WILD no questions asked!
They are wild about each other

And wild about trying new things-- and yes 90% of this ride Paisley was not holding on-- and no worries I threatened her daddy with his LIFE if she fell off had to have her head shaved to get stiches and had not hair till she was 4 he was gonna be in BIG trouble- lucky for him she didnt fall not one time-- shocking because her brother well he show NO mercy!!
Oh and this was moments before bathtime-- hence the wild pigtail hair!!

Today is the DAY

And I am on pins and needles wondering how it is going....I so000 badly dont want to be that "mom" that calls and checks in but I am willing to bet by lunch time I become that mom ;)

To my SWEET dear Friend

To whom who asked why Callen has on a jacket and P has on a tank/dress?
Let me explain-- if you know Callen you know he can be quite over the top and demanding in what he thinks he needs well Thursday morning was not out of the ordinary for him. The temp was 71 outside and he was FREEZING demanding he need his jacket from Monday when it was 58 oh yes and his hat--- so we decided to play along none the less Paisley is not being forgotten about or put out in the cold as she too has a jacket she wore Monday and Tuesday but Thursday even at the crack of dawn the temp outside was the same as the temp in our home and needless to say what Callen wants he typically gets!!

Her LAST day

I have to admit this has been a tough decision-- this momma isnt ready to consider Paisley a toddler just yet...but like it or not it is happening (although shhhhh she will always be my baby)

Now there is NO doubt she is ready, there is no doubt her BIG brother is going to be watching out for her like a hawk and there is NO doubt she will strive!

We will miss Gina, we will miss Paisley's 1st little boyfriend Kooper but they will reunite at St. Paul, we will miss the love, the caring and the blessing Gina has been-- but we will see her she will still care for P and there is no doubt Paisley will remember her and her sweet boys--
So for the last few moments of today I will savor them and lets just face it Monday this momma maybe a basket case ;)

The Race is On

EACH AND EVERY MORNING AT OUR HOUSE TO SEE WHO IS 1ST AT THE DOOR TO RIDE THE GATOR-- around and around the house they go always asking "one more time momma"

Remember when I said....

it was LIGHT PINK almost white-- well I wasnt kidding-- but doenst every girl deserve SOME pink in their life??And yes I think the color on the camera is a bit scued but the color is a very, very pale pink-- just enough to make it pop when all her goodies come together. Which by the way I CANNOT wait--Let's count it down together

Karate

Last week Callen officially joined karate--while Wednesdays class had him a little spooked he still insists he wants to go back. I have to admit I am proud of him for giving it another round and am hoping that he enjoys this sport as much as he enjoys soccer but only time will tell.

10 on Tuesday GASP

1. The house is trucking along I would venture to say 1/3 of it is painted and maybe just maybe by the end of the day 1/2 of it will be complete

2. We are 10 days and coutning till Paisley starts BIG daycare-- can you believe it-- I can promise you this momma is still trying to pull the covers over her eyes

3. Tonight is soccer-- and we are officially having to split the team-- I am bummed about it because we worked so hard to form it but with 14 kids there is NO doubt we will need 2 teams

4. This is going on 2 weeks in a row that my car is clean-- I mena inside and out-- well the inside that is cleanable-- I think one little toddler has permenantly left his mark on my car-- there is no doubt there!!

5. We are 52 days out from completion of the new house-- and I am sooo excited but I have to admit I am just waiting for something to fall and for those 52 days to turn into 62, then 72 etc

6. Our favorite holiday is creeping up on us-- and I am soo excited about the little ones costumes (thank goodness Callen doenst yet know he could be batman or spiderman ;)

7. Work, work, work... need I say more!! I need a night with friends and family

8. Our family pictures are coming up and I am sitting at the edge of my seat-- especially for the kids pictures-- lets just say there will be lots of colors and activities to lure them in

9. I caved and painted Paisley's room pink-- from one momma to me "they are only little once-- go for the pink" thanks Katherine for the advice!

10. Get ready because I feel like cooler weather is setting in and something exciting is about to blow everyones way

Soccer, soccer- time for Soccer

Saturday after a quick lunch and nap we were off to watch Kayden at his soccer game.....I have to say while the hike to the field was tough with gear and babies the game was well worth it. Kayden scored 2 goals and defiantely showed off his skills. Callen again was the coach's helper and really cheered on the boys, P basked in the sun and well Madi she slept most the game but I couldnt really blame her the sun was really tough on her fair skin plus girls need lots of beauty sleep.....

The cheerleader

Again it was a great game-- the Raiders gave it to the Transformers and at one point Kayden decided to really get into the game as he had to take care of a couple of his teammates and a kid that was pretty rough. It was a great game and I think we all got a little sun which was an added bonus
