Happy 4th of July from our Family to yours...

We had a wonderful 4th of July it was filled with a parade, bounce houses, snow cones, a picnic, swimming, face painting and travel back home

When we arrived me and the kiddos did poppers i nthe driveway and watched fireworks on TV. Due to the drought this year there was a strick ban and while I thought about pulling the sparlers out I figured it wasnt in my best intrest.

Hot and Sunny with NO chance of Rain

As you can tell baseball falls when it is HOT & SUNNY....and lucky for us both times we have drawn the field that is in FULL sun. Needless to say it hampers our cheering abilities when you are constantly squinking.

(and YES a sonic cup full of ice is the 1st choice of the little sassy thing in our house)

But I can promise you one thing we are there to support bubba no matter what!

That's as good as her cheese gets under those circumstances

Little Miss Sunshine

I am not sure how I missed posting about Little Miss Sunshine starting at Aunt Susie's but it is OFFICIAL brother and sister are back together again......

It was a hard adjustment for her at nap time however Aunt Susie accomidated her "need" and her and brother are temporarily being allowed to nap together rather then one being in the boy room and the little diva being in the girl room crying for her bubba. When I tell you these 2 love eachother there are honestly NO words until you just see that moment and it are those moments I am forever grateful for the time they are able to share eith eachother.

(and the 1st morning it was raining and cool outside Callen thought he needed a jacket he quickly decided it wasnt the right decision in this TEXAS weather)

It's BASEBALL time....

Our baseball season officially started last Tuesday while we have been practicing for several weeks this was the 1st official game. I will tell you there were lots of laughs to be had. These boys preffered more of a tackle like aproach when it came to getting the ball.

We are going to try and be a bit more organized this week as it seemed like fun chaos last week.....of course these are the moments you have to sit back and relax and remember it is ALL about having FUN

Of course to this little guy he gives 100% and is quite the little hitter

We enjoyed watching him and I know his #1 cheerleader enjoyed her job as he always reminds her before the game to hollar "go bubba go"

Swim Lessons

So I had mentioned before that swim lessons had = one BIG fish....let me tell you everyday it is all about SWIMMING ;) soooo here is a preview of the end of the 2 weeks of lessons till I get my post up later.

Real Life

In everyday life I have 2 kids one that is always play fighting, playing baseball or football, always needing my attention and having endless energy...then there is #2 sweet, something else when she is SASSY, has a love for her aka momma jewelry, and she is my little snuggle bug....put the 2 of them together and you have the BEST of friends!!!

Car Ride Home From Dallas

Lets face it with 3 kids and a 5+ hour drive you have to make the best of what you got....I think we did a pretty darn good job!!! Of course Paisley likes to watch this video over and over I think it is her way of saying "MOM you left me OUT" next time sweet girl it will be your turn for something special and some girl time!!

I forgot to share when we were in Dallas Callen attended Kayden's school. He had a great day and fro mteh way the teacher talked he was on his best behavior.

1~ 1 Soooo Much FUN

Can you believe that a year ago today this little angel blessed us with her presence. And let me tell you what a year it has been she has grown, she has become quite the little lady and she is even goign to be a BIG sister.....WOW time flies

Sweet little Mackenzie the cutest watermelon in the patch... I hope your birthday is filled with lots of sweets, great memories and you always knowing we love you beyond words. You are just a bundle of cuteness and joy wrapped into a special package we wish you the BEST 1st Birthday!!!

Baby Hicks

2 weekends ago I had a baby shower for our dear friend and photographer Kassie..... the last few months she has been through so much that I wanted her to take the time slow down and enjoy the last moments of her pregnancy. They lost their home in a fire 2 months ago and trying to rebuild while pregnant with little kids can be soo stressful. SO that day we celebrated her and baby Hicks that will be joining us in now 7 days!! and YES our house is on countdown

Kassie I wish you all the joy and happiness I am forever blessed with your friendship and the friendship of your boys with my little guy. We anxiously await this sweet new bundle and I am still determined one day P is going to date one of your sweet guys ;) hehehehhee

Calf Rescue

Yes you can now call on us to rescue your animals...the other day daddy said that there was a calf caught in the fence...so we gathered the supplies and went to the rescue. Of course this little guy or gal was not so much a calf but like a calf teenager HUGE!! We didn't let size stop us and we were determined to get her out.....so with us taking pictures in the car and others rescuing her she was SAVED ;) of course my kiddos now always ask to go see the baby they saved....

And NO animals were harmed in anyway if anything she was grateful we came along to her rescue!

Graduation 2011

It is hard to believe that our Sweet Kendall has graduated from highschool and will be headed to college in just a few short weeks. I know 2 little ones who are sure going to miss the surprise visits, the dinner dates and the fun play-times. Callen asked her the other night when her next softball game was and she said NEVER-- he was just a tad BIT crushed to say the least.

Kendall we hope you follow your dreams, hold your head high and move mountains. We love you and always wish and want the best for our KK...

Fishy, Fishy

I have one little one who since swimming lessons has turned into a fish and another one who tries ANYTHING the other does....let me see if you can guess who is who-- although only pictures of one swimmer ooops

She is getting braver day by day now her brother lets just say our little baby round pool is going to be upgraded because it just doesnt alot him room for swimming and he is now holding holding his breath for 5-8 seconds, diving to get toys and ready for his next 2 weeks of swim lessons

For daddy----

We tried to capture a cute Fathers Day picture you can see we got 1...(look at her little feet just love how she has the up in PERFECT position)

...and you can also see her brother LOVES her beyond words and in P style she loves him too but the girl is all about being SHY SHY SHY these days!!

Playroom Sneaky Peek

Ok I have FINALLY settled on the BIG wall in the playroom and everything is in place for the incredible pieces of art to arrive--- I proimise you a BIG view once they are all hanging in a straight line but until then.....a sneaky peek!! Of course Callens has all 4 years of his pictures Paisley's too has 4 pictures but we will ultimately change out with her 3 year pics and her 3 year pics. I cannot wait to see them arrive at the door step because the jpeg file I dont think does alot of justice. But you will get a little idea of what is to come!

It has been graduation central around here for quite some time...but the kids have enjoyed the parties and meeting new friends. End of School for P...

Paisley had her end of school program 2 weeks ago..It was precious and the children have learned so much of course Paisley decided that she was going to have no part of the program :( I think a big part of it was we got there changed her clothes and sent her back to class in her eyes at 5 you pick her up and take her home NOT send her back to school. The funny thing is she is my little preformer but NOT that day!!

It was a bitter sweet moment as last week was Paisleys last week of school she is going to be staying with various people this summer~ Nannie, Kendall (she is the main person of action), Gina and maybe eventually starting Mrs. Susies with brother if not come August 1 she will be there. I have to tell you that is what excites me the most Mrs. Susie is a blessing to us and I am so glad that I will have both my babies back together again!!! It will be a bitter sweet year as next year Callen will move to Kindergarten can you believe...NOT ME!!!

While we loved there old school I only felt it was fair and right to have them spend this last year together in fact to me it was a MUST!!!!!
