Splish Splash...this girl LOVES her bath....

Thankful....

Last night I layed snuggled in between my two babies.....just watching miss Paisley. As rough as the road with her seems at times and as the endless array of bills pile up I know just how thankful I am for her. I would have given anything that morning for her to be ok and there is not a doubt in my mind so would her daddy. She is a blessing to our family and the most wonderful addition you could ask for.....always smiling, never cranky and she loves like you would never believe. Yesterday on the radio I heard a new song by Kenny Chesney and Dave Matthews and I think it says it all about the LIFE we often take for granted.....

So damn easy to say that life’s so hard

Everybody’s got their share of battle scars
As for me I’d like to thank my lucky stars thatI’m alive, and well
It’d be easy to add up all the painAnd all the dreams you sat and watched go up in flames
Dwell on the wreckage as it smolders in the rain

But not me, I’m alive

And today you know that’s good enough for me
Breathin' in and out's a blessin' can’t you see
Today's the first day of the rest of my life

And I’m alive, and well
I’m alive, and well

Stars are dancin’ on the water here tonight
It’s good for the soul, when there’s not a soul in sight
But this boat has caught its wind and brought me back to life

Now I’m alive, and well

And today you know that’s good enough for me
Breathin' in and out's a blessing can’t you see
Today is the first day of the rest of my life

Now I’m alive, and well

Yeah I’m alive, and well

This kid is heck on golf clubs....

We are now down to ONE left handed club.....one bit the dust in a collision with Uncle Matt and the mower and the second Callen wacked crooked...who knew you could bend a golf club. Of course you can tell this mommy will be ordering some new clubs real soon because my crazy kid does NOT like the one left handed club that is left---go figure

FYI- The Great Garage Sell

Ok I just want to let you all know in case you have anything to add to the Garage sell it is official we are going to have it the 1st weekend in October (that Saturday). I have been cleaning out for months now and those tote boxes are mighty full so come join in and bring any tresure you may want to make a little money on.

The realty behind this garage sell is I cannot continue to keep, keep, keep....Prime example I have been keeping all Callen's clothes since he was a baby and since sissy cant wear them it is time for them to go!!! Oh and Sissy is growing therefor she has some cute things to add to the sell as well...not to mention furniture and loads of other goodies that we have been cleaning out for months. So come join in on the FUN. Callen has even played along with packing stuff for the RAGE sale as he calls it....lol we cant wait

But no worries if you dont get it back up for the fall one we are going to have a spring one as well and that will contain even more goodies--Wish us luck because to be honest the cleaning has made me a bit sad :( but it has also brought back great memories of Callen being little ADORABLE baby, our old home and the memories in it and all the in between. Although there are a few things I am ready to say goodbye to for now like my maternity clothes----lol or the endless array of frames I have a habit of holding on too....

A family rendition of Twinkle Twinkle......

PUMP IT UP....

We went to Houston this weekend for Blayne's birthday party....along the way we decided we would kidnap someone special! And there was one happy little boy to see just who we kidnapped~ I think it helped ease the sadness when he realized the Blayne we were seeing was NOT Uncle Blaine....but we had a blast and little girl got some good loving tooo. Thanks Aunt Lindsay we couldnt have done it with out you!!!

4 Months

Wow time has flown by little Miss Paisley..... It seems like just yesterday you were coming into our world with a BANG and quite a scare if you ask this mommy. However looking back each moment has been worth it and as I hold you and love you I could NEVER imagine a moment without you. You have completed our family of four and we are so thankful. As a mommy you dream of the day you have a little girl- one to play dress up with, one to shop with, one to share all the FUn girl moments with and for me I cannot wait. You know they say a daughter is a mother's best friend and I am seeing that everyday.

Here are a few things you have been up to.......

1. You are trying your hardest to sit up----mommy says not just yet but you insist you are a BIG girl

2. You are my little chunky monkey and an eating champ--you eat almost 21 ounces at daycare alone and I have a feeling Dr. Dentler will not be happy because I KNOW you have gained some serious weight and I cannot wait to compare it to what your brother weighed at 4 months

3. You are the happiest thing alive....you wake up happy, go to sleep happy and are just happy, happy, happy

4. You love to talk and watch your brother. I cant wait for the day I see the two of you interact!

5. You are a mommy's girl- if there is one person to calm you down it is me and I LOVE that I love that both my babies need me!!! heeheeheee

6. BOWS BOWS BOWS- girl you LOVE some bows and we cant wait to see what Miss Shannon does for us next!

7. You are still strickly on bottles and mommy is super happy we didnt cave to cereal early on!

8. You are just about in size 3 months but sometimes this momma can still squezze you into newborn (even though you are a chubby thing)

It's official......

This cheesy little thing is OFFICIALLY potty trained....at school his new nickname is little man. They were shocked whe this little guy potty trained as they told me most the boys dont grasp the idea till 3 and not ever has his teacher had a BOY under 2 1/2 potty train!! WAY TO GO CALLEN....it is official we are 100% in big oby underwear or undies (as mommy calls them). No more PLASTICS as Callen refers to the little plastic covers he was having to wear over his new big underwear! We are super proud of you and I am so glad you have had no accidents in over 2 weeks! Way to go little dude!!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture.....

I captured just what I wanted to capture in this picture the purest of LOVE......wish it were of better photo quality but I must say this is a KEEPER and for once it is a keeper that isnt a keeper because of the precious baby in it.....Oh how I LOVE what was captured in this picture

Look who is the in the BIG Seat...

Callen has officially moved to the 3rd row set of seats and is LOVING his independence....his items in the cupholders consist of the garage door opener, a BUG juice and almost all the time a S-N-A-K-K (as he calls is). Of course there is now ALWAYS a movie playing and you will never guess BARNEY (luckily he FINALLY like the tv in the car again for the longest he hated it). If not Barney then he wants Elmo or Cookie Monster....Gotta love the boy and thank heavens for the break from TRACTOR dvd's--- or course the ONE barney we have is getting OLD and this momma hasnt yet found Elmo or Cookie Monster! heeheehehe

A broken PIPE????

No it is rain and as you can tell our little family was sure happy to see some of this wet stuff on the ground.....Man it has been along time!
Ready, set, go---- or is it one, two, three MOMMA (this is what is said ALOT these days)

SPLISH.......

SPLASH-----This water is some FUN stuff (and the 1st time in Rainboots)

It's football time....

And while it isnt like last year watching Callen's "My Matt" play....we still had a good time. As you can tell Callen was loving him some Jane Jane. And Paisley was taking in her 1st football game with daddy!

Wishing my camera were here....

I have tons of GREAT pictures from the holiday weekend...however my camera is at Nannie a Popo's because there was a little accident at there place and I needed to get some pictures needless to say I forgot it and will have to get daddy to bring it home today...So buckle your seat belts and get ready for some GREAT post tomorrow!

ToOtErS.......better late then NEVER

I could say what happens at Tooters stays at Tooters but that would take all the FUN away from this momma. See just a little over 2 weeks ago we went to Aunt Glenda and Uncle Tooters Farm for a YUMMY dinner. The little boy in the back seat quickly informed me it was TOOTERS..... just Tooters. So we played along until he realized Aunt Glenda is a BIG part of making Tooters place FUN as well. He drank yummy tea and capri-suns and LOVED the food and he and Aunt Glenda even discussed Sunday breakfast and when we left there Callen wasnt having Piggies after church it was going to be POPPYSEED...that lasted until we pulled into Praseks Sunday and it was back to Piggies.

The boy had a GREAT time and it was capture and the girl she had a wonderful time getting lots of good holding time and snuggle time...unfortunately I didnt capture that (darn it).

The BIG weigh in...

Remember when I said we were going to astonish yall with Miss Paisley's weight. Well this morning this momma was SHOCKED into reality. As I climbed on the scale and weighed myself...got off then clutched my sweet baby girl the scale started chruning.....the numbers AMAZED me and her daddy so much we weighed in 3 times...each time just as acurate as the next. The little chunky mionkey as I called her this morning weighs 12.2 lbs..... What is a girl to di but smile and be happy we are FINALLY to that point.....She was in great spirits about it especially when her brother climbed on the bed and juimped all around her saying chunka de monka...it was precious and YES she is our CHUNKA DE MONKA as for Callen he will just stay our skinny minnie because we weighed him as well and he is 25.4 lbs.....hard to believe his sister weighs almost 1/2 of what he weighs....he better WATCH OUT!!!

Pizza Night

We took Nannie and Popo out for Pizza last night and both kids had a blast......As you can tell Paisley was in deep conversation with her Popo (this girl LOVES to talk) and sitting like a BIG girl with her Nannie and Callen was busy eating and chatting with the little boy in the both next to us along with telling us about his schookl day. It was a very nice end to a crazy week without daddy! Thanks for the fun Nannie and Popo we were glad it finally settled down and Callen was able to part from his dear ol gator (that is BROKEN)...heeheehee Guess that will be on the weekend to-do list!

Ya'll voted for 10.5 lbs

The verdict is in and Miss Paisley is going to ASTONISH yall with her weight...you know those chunky cheeks and rolly thighs come with a price....well that is lots of sugars for those kissable areas....tonight we are weighing her in and I know you will be shocked but my guess is about 12 lbs. Remember she is a little oinker for the sitter alone she eats 21 ounces then she eats all night...gotta love a girl who doenst care a lick about her weight and THAT IS MY GIRL!!!

Sweet, sweet baby

Date with MOM

Monday Callen and I had a date day.....it was wonderful and he was such a great boy! He never ceases to amaze me with his personality and little antics. He is my little lover of the outdoors and tractors. He also LOVES chick-fil-a he is in awww of the cows. So needless to say we had lunch at his favorite fine dining resturaunt, went and got a new Barney box set (thank goodness as we were wearing our Barney dvd out), headed to the zoo and even played on several different playscapes.

Thanks dude for such a great day I loved the good one on one time we were able to have....Hugs and kisses- Mom
