HE'S TWO!!!

Oh my, oh my, my sweet little guy is 2. I cant even come up with the words to express my feelings---heeheehee

In reality I am in shock this morning not only bec ause he is 2 but because last night for the FIRST time he slept in his big boy bed and was soooo PROUD this morning. Remember until yesterday that sweet boy has snuggled between mommy and daddy. And I must admit as much as I want to see him in his bed I am very saddened by the occurance. No more middle of the night snuggles......poor mommy is the one having the hard time adjusting ;(

Rodeo FUN...

I must say I am completely obessed with this guy....oooops I ment completely in LOVE. I know, I know we went to the rodeo to get great shots with the animals....the lights and the millions of attractions and well we FAILED---- cant blame a boy who knows what he likes....and lets face it the John Deere booth aside from the rodeo was probably his FAVORITE. He liked the animals, he loved the steer roping and he was amazed by the fireworks before the concert and mommy got one song with him before he sacked out for the night. But I must tell you amidst all the FUN he was one heck of a trooper.....no nap and he made it till 9:30 is a great fun loving playin mood....dont get me wrong it helped that we had great company as Callen would tell you. And YES he did the infamous Davlin bat of the eyes...lol it is TOTALLY to die for just wait I feel some videoing coming on real soon.....

Well till later have a good one and ENJOY the weekend. Right now I am getting prepared for the dude turning 2...YIKES.....I just keep telling myself no tears, and that 2 will be an AMAZING year with lots of new changes....the biggest of those will be sister arriving...YIPEE

Big boy room

Well we have been working on getting Callen's big boy room all ready and starting on little sisters room.....let me be the first to tell you it is night and day difference between a BOY room and a little princess room. Get ready because as daddy has been saying for weeks it is PINK overload. Enjoy the pictures we will update when we are a little further along.

Gasping for Air....

I am not sure when it happened, but my baby has turned in to a little boy. He turns two THIS week, so I guess it is not surprising, but in my head he is still a baby. Until I look at that first picture and all I see looking back at me is a big boy. I sit here and think........seems just like yesterday I was awaking from a drug induced coma asking to see that precious angel that had just arrived into my life and now I could not IMAGINE my life anyother way. He brings me such joy and sunshine from the start to the end of my days. He is full on endless amounts of energy yet can sit and snuggle when I need it most. He can also be the crabbiest little crab around. I think he gets lots and lots from his momma from the stories I hear about when I was little. There is no doubt though that he gets lots and lots from his daddy like the LOVE for tractors and outdoors and anything that has to do with fixing or being a little mechanic. Yesterday I sat in the doorway to the garage and just watched him as he jabbered it up in converesation and rode his bike (tricycle) using the petals. I never imagined something so simple to mean so much......

His abundance of words are arriving daily, yesterday when I tried to put him in his John Deere boots that I thought he would LOVE to where he told me " No mama not wear these" "Want other ones".....well for many of you that dont know Callen has a new found obession with CROCS....dont get me wrong they are one of our favorite pairs of shoes but nowdays it is a little over bored...we were them to bed, we take baths in them, we where them when it is so chilly it will freeze your toes off and where them when we are swimming at the aquatic center, they are the first thing asked for just after oatmeal in the mornings and the last thing we say goodnight to (luckily we say it to the frog and fish that reside on them...)

Ahhhh the joys of little boys....dirts, rocks and loads of stinky socks. But this momma would take a housefull of sweet little boys just like this one that graced us almost 2 years ago......hard to believe this little one is going to be the BIG 2.....

NAME GAME....

You guessed it we are ALMOST there on the whole name situation. It is never easy with Chris and I yet I have a feeling it has been decided for us! lol

So now we are waiting it out toying with what if's and letting our Sweet Girls name settle it.....SO get ready because it is gonna knock your socks off and WE AGREE..shocking yes considering I like some pretty off the wall names and my hubby like a more traditional name....Compromise is key and I think that is what we have done AGAIN. I know I said I was gonna get the name this time but remember there is a sweet little boy and I think he was the ULTIMATE decider...hahahah

Aquatic Center FUN...

Well I braved the odds this weekend.....bikini and all. Yes I know pregnant women should NOT wear bikinis but unfortunately it is all I had and me and my little dude wanted to go have some fun. Plus he isnt at the age yet where his momma embarasses him so it works well. We had a great time it took Callen a bit to warm up but once he did he was LOVIN' the water. That was until he slipped and fell but he recovered and back we went for some more.

Baseball FUN at the Beach

Well Saturday we headed to the island for a baseball tournement and a little sight seeing. Let's just say Callen LOVED the boats, birds and water and of course the baseball.....

Wishes....

Being pregnant, of course, has brought so many things right to the surface in ways that I hope to raise our kids to be decent, respectful, productive members of this world. I just hope that the answers come when they are needed and that I am brave enough to share them. Thus my sweet little Callen can be such a toot but in the same moment can show his love like no other......ahhh the joys although these days the toot is coming out more and more.

I hope you learn humility by being humiliated, and that you learn honesty by being cheated.
I hope you learn to make your own bed and mow the lawn and wash the car.
And I really hope nobody gives you a brand new car when you are sixteen.
It will be good if at least one time you can see puppies born and your old dog put to sleep.
I hope you get a black eye fighting for something you believe in.
I hope you have to share a bedroom with your younger brother or maybe in this case your FRILLY sister. And it's all right if you have to draw a line down the middle of the room, but when he or she wants to crawl under the covers with you because there scared, I hope you let them.
When you want to see a movie and your little sister wants to tag along, I hope you'll let her.
I hope you have to walk uphill to school with your friends and that you live in a town where you can do it safely. Although in your case it may be a little hill...lol
On rainy days when you have to catch a ride, I hope you don't ask to be dropped two blocks away so you won't be seen riding with someone as uncool as your Mom.
I hope you learn to dig in the dirt (your getting pretty darn good at this one my little Farm Loving Dude) and read books. I am pretty sure you are accomplishing this one no problem.
When you learn to use computers, I hope you also learn to add and subtract in your head and not rely on what is easiest
I hope you get teased by your friends when you have your first crush, and when you talk back to your mother that you learn what ivory soap tastes like.
May you skin your knee climbing a mountain, burn your hand on a stove (maybe not this one) and stick your tongue on a frozen flagpole. (well maybe just one of those 3 because lord knows when you hurt mommy hurts)
If a friend offers you some type of drug, I hope you realize he is not your friend and you have learned to JUST SAY NO.
I sure hope you make time to sit on a porch with your Bebe/Mimi&Grandma, listen to stories from Pappy and Grandpa and go fishing with your Uncles and listen to stories of the past about your daddy or mommy from your Aunts. And that when Uncle Blaine is in his teen years giving Bebe trouble you close your eyes tight and dont take ANY notes (face it mom at somepoint this may happen although knowing your luck he will be and ANGEL forever)
May you feel sorrow at a funeral and joy during the holidays.
I hope as you mother I punishes you when you throw a baseball through your neighbor's window and I hug you and kiss you at Christmas time when you give me a plaster mold of your hand.
I'd really like for them to know about hand-me-down clothes and homemade ice cream and leftover sandwiches and how to give to those less fortunate because lord knows we have been blessed.
But more then anything I want them to know how much they are loved......

Ok, ok enough of the mushy stuff but when I am in my picture hiatus and yall havent heard from me in weeks I am entitled to make at least one LONG email!!! lol So now let me let you know what has been going on in our world. We have been fighting the flu (Callen had 2 weeks ago)luckily we caught it early and were able to get on some GREAT medicine.....we have been throwing baseballs, planting a little corn with daddy in the evenings (please pray for rain and it is getting quite devistating around here HECK around the whole state), playing in the beautiful weather, talking up a storm, shocking mommy and daddy with things he says, cleaning closets (since I now have to face the fact baby B is NOT a boy), falling in love with the idea of a girl or sister as we tell Callen, getting ready for the BIG boy to turn 2 (where does time go), Callen getting sick AGAIN (luckily he is the BEST sick patient you could ask for), seeing family and friends and Callen making new friends at the baseball games and following others around like he is a BIG boy (thanks Ethan)......Awww the list goes on and on kind of like where does time go. As you all may well know he has quite the personality although Chris and I often laugh and wonder where did he get that from....There is no telling with him he is defiantely one of a kind--you know the kissable, huggable, loveable kind (most the time). Hope you have a GREAT week.

BLUEBERRY EYES AND PRINCESS WISHES

Oh my....last night I had one of those moments with Callen. He was looking at me talking it up about who knows what and that is when I noticed.....yes hard to believe but the reality sunk in. He has the BIGGEST blueberry eyes I have ever seen. They are to die for and just take me away and are probably the reason he can bat them and get most of what he wants (or I am just a SUCKER). Either way last night he got a NEW nickname BLUEBERRY EYES. It is hard to believe in less then 2 months my sweet baby will be turning 2 YIKES! And just after that our sweet "princess baby" will arrive..... Time is flying and I must admit we are having way to much fun. Now we went back to the doctor yesterday and I have to admit the Princess is YES still a princess...part of me thought the tech maybe wrong but low and behold she is right on the money from the looks of it . So I guess reality better sink in I am better get some princess bows and start thinking about princess name YIKES!!! Honestly we are truely blessed and excited for all life has thrown our way and this sweet little girl is a beauty....her heart, bladder, kidneys and stomach are all looking wonderful and she has the cutest little hands that she likes to keep nestled by her face. We were able to get an amazing profile picture of her as well which makes us even more excited to meet her. We thank god daily for our abundant blessings and know once we are looking into her BIG eyes we will all feel our hearts skip a beat....and she too will have 2 boys wrapped her Daddy and Callen....so watch out because I assure you she will have one overprotective brother! hahahahaha that is once he gets past the jealous stage but I am hoping that he is going to be very loving and helpful because I know what a BIG OL heart that little boy has.

Little Moments

I sit hear with a heavy heart wanting to just write to you all via email.....but then I think WHO would want to read sad stuff I write today. So instead I am going to just but this one on the blog. I sat here this morning reading post of a baby who passed away at 38 weeks just before being born due to cord strangulation (pray for baby Aiden and his mommy). I could only imagine how hard that road is. As a mommy you carry your sweet little one for 9 months and anticipate the arrival and being able to hold them close for the rest of there life, loving them and letting them know just how special they are. Then for reasons unknown to man but all up to a higher power those little moments are taken away. Then I read that Miss Tuesday passed away from stage 4 cancer and I think what a strong little girl and how hard for her twin and 2 other siblings to understand WHY? For parents that see there children suffer it must be the worst pain to endure.

Dont get me wrong I try and not take a day for granted with anyone that I love.....but I do hold my little one a bit closer at night or take a moment longer to watch him sleep or cuddle in the morning. The present is all that we are gauranteed and if ever faced with the unforsaken I hope that I too am comforted and held close like all these other parents. I know there is a plan for all of us and just when is uncertain to those on earth......So hold you babies tighter tonight and PLEASE savor the moments because they are sooooo good and so amazing and our little ones are so preciouse!

Happy Birthday Daddy....

Let's watch Uncle Matt........Hmmm someone looks tired....
Who is daddy talking to because he looks mighty happy.......hmmm Bebe and Uncle Blaine are wishing him Happy Birthday!

Yep you guessed it yesterday Chris turned 29.....hold on because that means the BIG 30 is right around the corner. We made him a special super and Callen helped me paint a pot and dip strawberries so that he had a special strawberry pot when he came in from working. It was a short celebration but we plan on doing a little more this weekend as last night we went and watched Uncle Matt play some Basketball.......it was enjoyable but more then anything we hope DADDY had a great birthday!

A little Basketball Fun

This weekend we did absolutely nothing but hang out the three of us and play and work, boy let me tell you it was some much needed time! We did miss a few great shots like Callen helping Daddy and Grandpa build fence or should I say hang gates, lots of tractor riding Saturday and mommy even went along for the ride. And Sunday we had a great game of basketball going....not sure if daddy or Callen won but I do know it was priceless to watch those two go at it. Something about the wonder in Callen's eyes just makes me want to go along for the BUMPY tractor ride or offer help in fixing fence and hanging gates......even last night we were moving dirt and helping Chris get ready for the pipe layers. Never enough hours in the day and defiantely never enough to watch the wonder, amusement and love in my sweet little ones eyes....AHHHHH just melts my heart he is getting so big and starting to say so many words before we know it those sentences will be flowing and the peaceful days of no back talk will be over but dont worry we are ready for the next adventure that will head our way!

SHOCK........

SO... It is safe to say our world has turned pink today! I am kind of starting to panic. I don't really know where to start preparing considering all the newest baby girlies I see are wearing glam tutu and all sorts of frou frou. Don't get me wrong. I don't want to raise a Prima Donna but a Shirley Temple would be cute! I am sure our little mademoiselle will sure have a lovesick older brother doting on her because anytime we see Callen in the presence of a female, he gets so flirty and coy.

Granny and Grandpa Pavlik Christmas

Last Load of Bebe Fun....

And when we left.....there were tears and BUBBA was called out as we drove off.....also he waved and said a nice bye bye...a bitter sweet moment for a 2 year old.
