Visiting the newest little bundle of JOY~

Sunday we went to Houston to visit the new little bundle of blue at Uncle Greg and Aunt Lindsays.....it was a wonderful visit and I know a daddy(ours) that loved and held sweet Braxton for the LONGEST.
Paisley also loved holding him as well as playing with Mackenzie outside. Sure is a BIG smile from a little girl who is hard to get smiles from these days. I think she really LIKES Braxton

Callen was busy trying to get Uncle Greg beat on the Wii but he too had to get in on the baby holding ;)I think he too loved Braxton Carter as he calls him ;)

It's beginning...

To look alot like CHRISTMAS
I wanted to share with you my favorite tree-- it has been with us since we were married and each year it changes just a bit. This year I added ribbon and I LOVE the look. I also LOVE that is sits in my front window and you can see its glow from the street.

Now meet my newest addition--- see these letters served a BIG purpose for our upcoming Christmas Cards but I have to say they are a great fit in our breakfast area

WISHING YOU ALL A BLESSED HOLIDAY SEASON

Ever feel like you are MIA

I DO!!!!!

I have been so busy with life that I just feel like I have negleted the blog however....I wanted to share a picture I took since I get so many people who say you are NEVER in any pictures....Well let me share how I get a picture of myself ;)

The reality is I love takiong pictures of my kids, my nieces and nephew soon to be nephews but I NEVER worry about myself because I want to capture the moments. However I am glad I took this mainly because it reminds me that this is how my kids see me most the time---hehehehe

Soccer Saturday with Kayden

We even shared a soccer Saturday with Kayden since we had a bye weekend

Quite the little player!!!

1st Flight

Earlier this month me and the kids flew to visit The Kelly Family... I was very nervous as this was there 1st flight EVER not to mention it was a super early flight. We left our house at about 3:45 and headed to Houston as you can tell Callen is always my partner in crime from the time I woke him up he stayed awake and we talked about the adventure ahead of us. Pulling into the airport just before dawn was an incredible sight that he and I both loved. We then parked our car and I carried the princess who we had awoken from slumber while he walked like a BIG boy. We got a quick snack and headed to our terminal by that point we were all anxiously excited (I was nervous that they would have tears or be scared). We boarded picked our seats-- Callen being by the window, mom in the middle and Sweet P and Henley took the isle seat. Even the Southwest man came up to P to ensure her that if we needed our mask Sweet Henley owuld have one drop down as well (she jsut needed to be the LAST one with it on. Up up and away we flew........once we were able to unbuckle Callen decided her preferred the isle seat so him and P switched (my cautious child most definately). It was a great flight and a wonderful trip--- the flight back was a BLAST as well because we had all Dallas Cowboys fans on the plane and the kids loved that!!!

Uncle Matt

We had 2 surprise visitors this weekend Uncle Matt and Kendall and as you know we rarely see Uncle Matt so there was one little dude who was THRILLED!! SOrry we didnt get to spend more time with Uncle Matt but we were blessed to have him come to our soccer game and get to see him at church and breakfast Sunday!

Thanks for playing with your little buddy as it was apparent to us all that ONLY Uncle Matt could help him, or wash his hands, or hold him, or play with him. Lets jsut say Callen was savoring his moments with Uncle Matt~ until the next visit!!

Stop, Stand Still, Smile...

That is what you often hear when I am trying to get a picture of this sweet girls she is as busy as they come. Always thinking she has to tend to something or better yet SOMEONE....

You can see by this picture she was not going to COOPERATE at all dont those eyes just shout "you are trying to take my picture again...havent you gotten the hint"

Lets just say I am still holding out and am trying my hardest to capture the little moments but with my girl she is jsut not into posing right now.

Paisley is also very into MATCHING--- she likes her clothes to match her suckers and is VERY particualr about her shoes (yesterday she insisted on wearing purple which she doesnt have) of course eventually I got her to settle in her way and agree to a different color but let me tell you she is strong-willed.

The end of another season

We ended out Fall Soccer Season Saturday and it was one of those bittersweet moments because for some of these boys it will be there last time to play together until Kinder starts. Of course it was a GREAT game! Callen scored 5 goals and we were so very proud of him.

Rodeo Cuties...

A few weeks ago we attended the Jackson County Fair as well as Bull riding.....it was quite the adventure. I seem to do alot of looking back these days and last year P was so little she couldnt even ride a ride and sweet Callen had no intrest....fast forward to this year and scratch that as we had to purchase not 1 but 2 arm bands.

The Perfect Pumpkin

I have to tell you I have to completely opposite children...Callen is my perfectionist he works hard at all he does and everything has to be perfect... and then there is sweet P.

The other evening we took the kids to pick the perfect pumkin...let just say it is amazing to me what Paisley finds beauty in. In all honesty it made me proud because she was insistent that her pumpkin was the perfect pumpkin!
While this pumpkin maky look rottne I will be the 1st to tell you it isnt it was just formed its own special way and Paisley is so proud of her pumpkin(now she is holding it upside down)

Reunion Fun

Look at the little monkeys jumping on the bed ;)
 One tired chick
 FOOD need I say more
The little beauties I was talking about!!

Look at the fun they are having and there arent even batteries to make the GO !

Car Fun

A few weeks ago we hit the road and headed to Lake Buchannan for a family reunion.... And boy oh boy did we have fun. On the way ther wehad a larger traffic delay which resulted in us playing as many games as we could come up with alone with singing loads of songs.
Paisley wanted her sweet Henley to ride in style so she quickly stripped her down and re-dressed her over and over whcih kept her entertained for quite some time. The little man on the other hand was not thrilled at ALL..... that is until we got there because once we arrived I dont think I saw my sweet Callen for almost 24 hours straight (which is not something that happens on a regualr basis). He even went canoing with Uncle Daniel ALONE. I was so proud of him for picking up with my littlest cousins and my cousins littles like they were all the best of friends. Lets just say the trip home sunday consisted of a LONG nap because he went from sun up to well past sun down.
Yes he posed for this picture--- can you tell he had asked 945 times are we there yet? ;)

Of course I have a few more pictures to post of the fun had and the wonderful company-- lets just say my cousin that was like my baby doll when I was 13 is a stunning young lady and I am sooo proud of her and her sisters. It was quite fun getting to hang out with then like I am 20 again ;)hehehehehehe

Sweet Sick Girl

Today Paisley has been a sick little girl ;( we took her into the doctor and she was spunky and sassy for a bit but her eyes said she just didnt feel like herself. She loved getting to high five her doctor and show her nurses that she knows her colors quite well. Of course when it came to her actual appointment where they checked her out she was none to interested. In fact she prefered to tell Miss Rachel that she could look in her dolls mouth and nose.
At the end of the day we were put on antibiotics to ensure her sinus's dont turn into an infection. Tonight I gave her medicine and I will be the 1st to admit she is a bit liker her momma NOT a medicine taker. Of course after 3 tries she is keeping her medicine down(yes she is a gagger). She has been quite attached to having momma by her side today and her sweet baby doll Henley-- needless to say her totes her Henley everywhere and Chris and I joke she is like our 3rd child.
Soo here is to better feeling days and to get our spunky funky P back and these allergies AWAY!! All to welcome a cold front Thursday that will start this cycle all over again (got to love allergy season)
..........................Up next a recap of the last month-- sit back and get ready it is going to be a wild and quick ride while we get this blog back on track
